So, not that it matters much, but in between every stage you can click free gems for another 250 gems. Like I said, the fall off on that is huge, but seems abusable if you just enter and leave stage a bunch at the start of the game.
Controls are too floaty for the precision you need in many rooms, the challenge feels artificial, like rather than make me work for something because it's challenging, you make me work for it because there's 1000 sawblades and you need to squeeze through a gap smaller than your character. The Final Challenge felt more like an insult to momentum than a challenge and again with the floaty movement makes this challenge feel more difficult than it should be. 2/5 For clever stage design in the early levels, but after that you seemed to forget what that was and decided you needed sawblades on all the things.
Controls were clunky, if I turned too fast even though my animation would go off and finish in one direction the attack would do nothing. Honestly this game needs to allow us to attack while retreating that would be a large improvement on the combat mechanics. Otherwise flying units hit boxes are obnoxious, and since you don't have invulnerability frames you get hit like 7 times per passthrough. When I started the first time, a bat killed me in one swoop. 2/5 Finished it, but not happily.
In the early levels when your cash is tight, rather than buying repairs, just revisit level 2 and get repaired for free with the power-ups. More often than not you'll get a repair one.
Bubble 1046: I fear all may be lost, I've searched endlessly, alas, I have yet to find this "Boss" they speak of, I shall continue searching. Wish me luck.
I can't be the only one who noticed the hilarious similarities this games intro had to the mighty morphing power rangers. Rita and her two minions, oh god.
Not the be nitpicky, as I love this game, it's lots of fun and I'm enjoying it. However, in the future you should have someone proofread it before publishing it. Again, very fun game, and I'm looking forwards to more great things from your team in the future.
A vast improvement over the prior papas games, however I'm still not much of a fan of them. They have a long play time, but very little replay value as they are far too repetitive to even want to complete once. Good game, good concept, good visuals, good sound, but not for me. 4/5
BassTee, the reason people complain about 60 seconds is were not all inhuman robots designed to pilot a triangle around a hexago while it flips directions and flashes colors at you so frequently that a person with epilepsy would have multiple seizures per attempt. Honestly, the visuals on this game make me sick feeling just trying to play it and also it's pretty difficult since the controls just feel too loose to maneuver properly without propelling myself into the abyss which is everything in this game.
So I went ahead and got all 24/24 Gold Medal, didn't see a save option anywhere, so I figured it was automatic. My internet went out on me last night and I just closed my browser. Apparently if you do that it just says to hell with your save file and erases it. I was president of Earth dammit!
Eh, decent game, not quite my style to play inventory manager. The art style is nice and over all it is a decent game. Just didn't appeal to me like I expected it to. As for those of you complaining about badges... I don't know where your problem stems from, I got them instantly.
Level 3 wasn't my problem, it was the acrobats in level 4 that fly across the entire screen landing on me and dealing like half my HP in 2 seconds because I can't fight them and the 700 zombies that continuously come at the same time.
Spent about 30 minutes on it, got every in game achievement, it's not hard, but it is fun, I just find it rather annoying that even after my weapon is fully upgraded, it shows no significant improvement over the weakest version on most enemies. Apparently 90% of the enemies have 1 HP more than the strongest weapon in the game.
It really is not worth the effort to do that. You gain so much more gems by just playing.
