This game has more luck involved than SSB and their random crates of fight ruining. Except here, you get one-hit kill items, not items that merely make them easier to knock off.
Okay, this is literally the exact same game as The Idle RPG, minus the title and the changing of the base character name to the name of the person who posted this. Apparently, that game was a knockoff of Progress Quest originally, so they're both wrong, I suppose.
The game has some slight issues regarding the ability to see certain obstacles, such as the tree, and occasionally getting a mashup of obstacles that are impossible to pass together. Otherwise, it's a pretty fun, yet difficult, game.
It's a fun game, but often has horrible hit detection and missions are often very annoying due to horrible AI and large damage reduction differences. That being said, it does add to the challenge, but with the system of the game being luck of the draw to get a good weapon, that usually winds up in many tries until you can find anything other than a pistol to go "Pew pew!" with.
Okay, so I finally beat the dream boss. Then, the text keeps appearing and apparently glitches the game, because I get thrown into yet another boss battle on the spot. At that point, I decided it to be easier to suicide and regain the skills than to waste my time further fighting the ten minute battle.
This game USED to work. Some reason it now simply moves with the line, no audio or shapes. Leaves in the Wind has audio, yet it is highly distorted. The MP3 URL has never worked for me, even if the same exact URL worked for others. Either this game has issues with Vista, this Axe "challenge," or itself.
Quest 16 goes on SO long, that when you don't pay attention and die, you go back about 30 minutes in the past about about 100 monsters to kill once more.
Range talent does not work with the 2 AP weapon. Great to use it, especially when Tuned. 10 AGI, 10% Crit, 10% Hit Chance with it with ten shots a turn, 6-9. 95% hit chance, 28% crit chance at level 16.
The Quit Button in the pause menu should be better placed. And re-sized. Why is the exit menu button about 1/16th the size of the button that eradicates your entire work? And "fool me once" doesn't count here. My stupidity led to three times, so far. Yes, you can make fun of that.
When you hear the horn blow, you know you're about to have trouble. When you hear it blow twice, just quit. Really. Not exactly fair to fight over 100 enemies that are on horseback.
The game has a few glitches, as many others have pointed out. My last two missions, Eye of the Storm and The Invasion are both incomplete even though I have finished the game. I did not enjoy the ending, as you destroy the base, get a "reload" system for your missiles, and are stranded in the desolate system with nothing more than a badge that says "Victory" and "To be continued..."
I'm kind of wondering on some of the math involved in attacks... An attack that does 366 damage somehow becomes over 3000 with a 300% damage boost. Not quite sure who thought that would be normal.
Heh... Heh heh... I actually murdered the Baron on Heroic because he used Holy Scars while debuffed with Deep Burns. 53k damage did him in nice and fast.
LavaMage's tactic works quite well; 225 firing speed is the maximum, it would seem, where it basically becomes an automatic gun. Don't use higher tier gems on it afterward, though, as it actually lowers the gem's stats.
Interesting game, but the boxes should be slightly more fragile; level 49 has me constantly trying to shoot the box high enough to get over the little slope, but low enough for it to break.
