I’m sorry Bob! I’ve been so swamped with school and work lately. I just checked it out—it’s colorful! I like how you mix in the real pics of people on the wall in the background (I never figured out how to do stuff like that in Photoshop).

I believe the color really makes the picture more realistic and pleasing to look at. And also I am a very colorful and bright kind of guy, lack of color is just depressing. The art really gives the message that although their are selfish Dictators and horror in the world, their is STILL happiness. Not only that, but the color really brings out the longing and emotions displayed in the work.

I was writing Dead Space 2 Multiplayer Squad vs. L4D2 Infected around march last year, but april, I started the story and kinda stopped with it. I am gonna write mre of those, but those kind from last year are BEYOND outdated now though. Thanks though.

So you were one of the canon writers for DS2? Cool. Maybe you should major in that, and become a game developer. I think everyone should have the rights (and expertise) to do what they really love.

LOL, now ya guys have me wondering if my concept of “feminism” is wrong. NOPE:
1: the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes
2: organized activity on behalf of women’s rights and interests.

I agree that early on, feminism had a lot of ugly crap heaped upon it…which could distort their image. Plus, as in many “movements”…the firebrands get the press//recognition.

I agree that when it comes to my definitions above: females “have come a long way, baby” And, therefore ""now can’t as easily be subjected to suppression & "enslavement"". BUT, just as Blacks have come a long way, racism isn’t yet "dead. Neither is the male chavinist pig.

I see it quite often in varying degrees. Most of it is due to the “adjustment factor”. It takes time for a society to incorporate major attitude changes. Ppl like jhco et.al. have to “die off” and hopefully not leave behind—primarily in their children, etc.—their biased, bigoted thinking.

Luckily, Karma, people are influenced by their society (at least a little) and these prejudiced attitudes tend to filter out and dilute generation by generation. That’s my hope, anyway. I’ve met some old timers that are still pretty darn bad. Of course, most of the people I run into (young and old) aren’t that chauvinist—it’s a select few that have the issues (low self-esteem?) that makes this issue so pervasive and such a sore point.

I guess. Sometimes, something is so outlandish it’s hard not to respond. After a certain point I stop talking to someone, indefinitely. It was interesting at first, talking to Reject, but when he vehemently started defending pedophilia (it looks like that was what he was doing, anyway), I gave up. What can you really say to such a person? DarkBaron was just being his usual obnoxious self. I think he likes the shock value, or the thrill it gives to “tell it” so bluntly.

Well, you seem to be an intelligent person, so I find it kind of sad you’re being attacked over using a few words that aren’t “proper” in their eyes. They could just ask what you meant and the discussion would be over. This is getting rather ridiculous.

LOL. I think it went into the realm of ridiculous when he began arguing in favor of sex with children, but that’s just me. The semantics and word games are probably more intellectual posturing and deflection on their part than anything else.

Yup…..like many social issues, this one “has arrived”. It was loooong overdue, but this is typical. Sorta a thing of: gotta get worse before it gets better. BUT, it deeply pains my heart (for 50+ years) at the “cost” of it. I do public speaking. One of my strongest topics IS bullying….of all ages, relationships.

Yeah, I think vannie long ago set up many alts so he could try to appear to have been a member for a long time. He can’t usually hide his delusional mind for long. AND, the single digit number of posts for someone who has been a member for two years sorta stands out, too. LOL
