After a certain point I had a full screen of rifles/miniguns and every building. I just got bored and watched youtube vids until the game said I had won. If a line was ever broken I basically just abandoned it. The fighters are wusses and run away if they see an enemy (as opposed to fighting then point blank and them moving to their position). And even if I do get a good unit in and it kills the monsters, they will be far back and I will have to waste like 500 energy to get them to the front lines. ALSO: moving units should be free. Why do I have to pay so much to move a unit forward. I end up just killing off all my units rather than moving them forward. I really like how the economy works, how the workers running around counts as money. And how building placement really matters. But I wish I could blow up buildings after they were finished. Often times I would have prefered to remove a useless prerequisites building and move my unit makers closer to the workers. I should be able to have more than 1 barb-wire builder. Maybe this was intentional (requiring more strategy), but to get a full row of barb-wire takes the same amount of time no matter how many workers I have on the Barb-wire building. I like the quick button system (pressing 3 to heal, 1 to summon a unit). Very fast and easy to remember. I need a list of all the units. I also need a list of all the units damage/range/cost/etc in numbers (just saying “a bunch/not much” is not useful) and a list of special abilities. Because since I didn’t know what the new units did I would ignore them. Medics need to have a much larger radius of effect. Their range was so short I never used them once. I like that the tier 1, tier 2, tier 3 units look so different and have different functions/special abilities. Units in the front line hog all of the experience. My shotguns guys are level 3 and still killing like crazy, leaving the rifles behind them at level 0. Make it so that surplus experience is given the guy other guys in the same row. Generic complaint: no female soldiers, only damsels in distress. Still a really fun game. One way you could easily expand on the game would be to let the player choose missions with some missions having specific rewards like more workers, better tech, having more barb-wire workers (as opposed to just 1). The parts where you have to protect hostages is really cool and you could probably work that in with the victims rescued become more workers/barb-wire workers/trainers. Again, a really fun game. show less

Oct 29, 2011 12:37pm i just finished your game monster town in normal mode and i have some Suggestions: (1) when a person retreats, just add him to the stock of people you have available in that building. (2) maybe put achievements that give you something ? (3) the medics are seriously almost useless. maybe raise their healing ability? or the more they heal, the better… show morei just finished your game monster town in normal mode and i have some Suggestions: (1) when a person retreats, just add him to the stock of people you have available in that building. (4) i’ve never used the shotguns (i’m guessing noone has), maybe put instead of the shotguns attacking units in a line, they attack units in the adjacent lines? show less |
