You never get strong enough to feel powerful, yet the game is never difficulut enough that you feel accomplished. It's just a slow awful screen-shaking trudge towards the badges.
This game shows great potential, but a few things ruin the experience. Death happens much too frequently--one or two shots from certain enemies immediately kill the player if they are not at full health. Death itself is a meaningless mechanic because of the infinite respawn--instead death just annoys the player and makes him feel like he doesn't have to try at playing. Ammunition is annoying as well; it detracts from the main purpose of the game, which is a fun adventure with zany physics and explodable environment (which is a very fun aspect of the game).
But limited ammo just has me stressing out about which gun to use and when, and mostly I just melee everything to death, caring nothing about the damage I take because I know I can just respawn. My advice would be to give the player 4 times more health, take away the respwan, and make ammunition far more plentiful (or take away ammunition entirely), because honestly when you move past these two painful aspects of the game, the rest of the game mechanics are quite enjoyable, and the destructable environments are a lot of fun.
This game is fail in the way that I only know possible by Nerdook. Grinding gameplay, boring repetitive actions; this game does nothing but insult the true gamer's intelligence.
