Anyone having trouble with the final boss please read this. I'm sorry if this has already been addressed in previous posts.
The trick with the last boss is to save your buildings from the squids in the earlier levels. When they attach to the buildings they don't do any direct damage, but if the red bar underneath depletes then that building turns blue and stays there (this is to simulate that it has run out of power or the people inside have died or something) At this point, you have actually lost that entire building-even though it is there. Therefore, it appears the boss kills you when you still have buildings left, when in fact those buildings are dead. It saddens me that there was no in game explanation of this, but I have changed my grade from a 1/5 to a 4/5 now, as the game was not super stellar, but a lot of fun once you figure out this trick with the last boss. Please forward a shortened version of this for future frustrated gamers. Good day and good gaming all!
I'm sorry but this game is horrible. It doesn't even feel like a game. The damage is random, your attacks are random... and it doesn't matter how much of a BA you are, because you can get randomly killed from just a few attacks, and if you are fighting more than one oponnent you are normally hopelessly dead unless you can get that random one hit kill on your enemy. I mean, on survival I got 55 kills in one life, and then 7 guys (I kid you not 7) appeared on the screen and raped me for 3 and a half lives, even with my limited respawn invincibility. All in all, the game is just frustrating and feels like I'm just pushing a button and rolling dice for random chance.
For all the people who say the game had a bad story line, you obviously need all your stories to come off of the back of a cereal box. For all the people who said the game was too easy, put the game on hard, and then put your game where your mouth is. For those of you who say it was far too slow, you obviously just can't be patient enough to taste the full flavor of commitment to something that is rewarding. Lastly to those who said the whole game sucked, go out and make a better one, because you probably can't. Think about that before you get on these chats and start whining.
Happy waving stop signs, smiling trees, dancing clouds... you mean you're telling me that that's not what other people normally see that when you look out a window? XD
The heck is up with all the "not my genre" quotes. Good grief, that's like being a person who loves classical music and then complaining when you volunteer to go to a Metalica concert. You're the ones who picked the game, so stop B%$#*&^ about it. Rate the game, not if it was "your genre."
Man, ppl need to quit B!$$*!*% about how the game isn't "user friendly." You know, there's a secret retro console award in the game for a reason-this game is a lot like those older games where you actually had to have, oh I don't know, something called *skill* maybe to play the game?
Wow, this game had a really original storyline that kept the game very intersting. I recommend actually reading it and not skipping over it like I did at first XD 4/5 for game, 5/5 for story
Haha, love this game. Great idea, along with good animation. The game itself may not be mind blowing, but the character of the game itself makes up for it. Not to mention that the main character's face in the beginning is priceless. 5/5
