Your last lost child might be hiding next to the wave counter in survival or hiding behind barrels in your house. the rest are kicking about the main map screen and in the museum and one is hiding in the background on the skill talent screen

You get 1 when you create 1 T of power i think. I have 3 particles so far and i am running 5 groups of 4 quad seaborium. get about 0.002 T per tick lol

Btw you can look at the room list at the top of the screen and determine if the room is occupied by looking for the blue man.
