Decent premise, killed by one horrible feature. Manual 'boss fights' 286 hp? One click at a time? No thanks. In desperate need of a way to make the game less of an repetitive stress injury bait.
Some of the 'gains' from monsters need tweaking. You've essentially designed worthless monsters since some take away a stat at a far greater rate than you can gain it. This makes either the monster giving the stat useless, or the monster taking it away useless, depending on if you want to keep that stat or not.
Personally, I'd say remove that function entirely, taking away a players gains as a 'reward' is generally bad game design. You want the player to always feel like they are advancing.
painfully slow gameplay =/= idle.
It's just bad game design, there's no progress, I just have to sit around waiting for my solution to actually kick in.
You can speed up progression in many ways even in the same level, give it a try!
For example, you can put all your effort at the start to produce larvae then after you have enough of them start to produce workers, for many levels, this is faster than creating a chain of production and wait.
I enjoyed it a lot, but the last 10ish levels with the teleporting bricks took a little bit of enjoyment out of it for me. I couldn't say what exactly bugs me about them, they just aren't my thing.
Was enjoying this game, latest patch messed everything hard, any semblance of balance is long gone, amended rating down to 1 star. See what happens next patch, but considering the devs haven't even acknowledged the problem yet, unlikely to improve.
Playtesting in 16 failed hard. for some reason both opponents have a serious mania for attacking you and avoiding each other. Game is unplayble here as a straight 2 on 1 just isn't winnable.
Suggestion that would be nice. Could the locations be remembered between resets? I'd just be a nice little thing if I didn't have to rearrange everything every go.
Actually the locations should be remembered between resets or when the game is closed and restarted. Please check it again and create a bug report when the locations aren't stored.
So, minor beef. I have some locations where all the options are exploration, can't pick something else at all. Would be nice if each location guaranteed a choice. Also, exploration still doesn't seem very worth it, its *much* longer duration for less money. Hoping exploration speed scales better as a I go.
