After my save disappearing twice, first time just past level 60 and now again, after using wings at floor 75, saving and leaving, I call it quits. Awesome game, but for me to be willing to grind this much, I'll at least play something that doesn't keep losing my save, like Arcuz.
As soon as the first stage started, I recognized the background music playing, but I can't remember where I heard it before (and it's driving me nuts!). Anyone knows?
Lags a bit on my computer for some weird reason (even on low), and it seems that grenades are timed on real time, so that makes some stages hard for me, because the grenade ends up exploding before travelling the normal distance. To test this out and confirm it, I opened several tabs on my browser to intentionally lag more. The result was, the game was very slow, and grenades exploded just a few centimeters from the launch point. Any way to make the counter go according to the game speed?
Aw man, on my first run after my second evolution I finished the game accidentally :( couldn't even see what third evolution I'd get, since I can't keep playing after it's finished! Please, please make it so you can keep playing for as long as you like, like Learn to Fly! 5/5, I loved the evolution part!
Blah. This bug is annoying. I had it happen to me twice, and since I was short on time, I ended up being second on the Book of Mages. I beat waveharp, then got the town crier message that he had been arrested. Had to fight him again for his rank. Then beat Burnstorm, got another town crier message (can't remember which one), had to beat Burnstorm again for his rank.
Aside from that, AWESOME game, I'm on my third playthrough because you can do so many things in different ways.
This is so weird. This game used to work perfectly for me, except for the invisible line bug which could be fixed by doing whatever it was that I don't remember. But now it glitches out badly while I'm dragging the villagers to toss them! Sometimes they get stuck in middair, or part of them is left behind and when I release the mouse button, they teleport back to that location instead of get thrown up (or down). Any tips?
(Kongregate really needs an edit button :<) also, it'd be nice to have the option to keep the music even at high speed, it gets a little bland after you keep going for a while without it :P
@DeadLucky: I also drag my cursor out of the game screen in tunnels, but it keeps painting the snow for me!
"Tristan isn't afraid of the darkness. The darkness is afraid of Tristan." Oh please, are we gonna go as low as put stuff from chucknorrisfacts.com in the game, swapping "Chuck Norris" for "Tristan"? -_-. Might as well put the "Boogeyman checks his closet for Chuck Norris-- I mean Tristan before going to sleep" one in there too. NOT.
@Chazx Actually, since you can learn everybody's specials through the Versus mode, I don't recommend picking someone because of the special =P. But it's a great post for the new people!
Eh, what did I miss? There were potions in the shop when I started but had no cash, and when I got there again, I had the money, but there weren't any potions available, nor any other means to heal myself.
Heh, this game's as awesome as I remember it being fom nearly a year ago :P
One thing though: I could see my special bar depleting after activating it when I didn't have any points in the special stat, but I can't see it anymore after investing points there. Is it a bug or is it supposed to be like that? I suppose it's a bug since I could see it depleting before putting points in the stat. Not being able to see when my special is going to be over is a little troublesome, because I end up stopping tricks before it's over.
Oh my, I've been wanting to play this game again for a while now, played it a good while back, maybe last year even... but been too lazy to look for it because I didn't remember the name. Now it just popped on the "Recommended Games" after I loaded Knight's Story 2 and I recognized it. Lucky! :D
