Okay, I just seriously lucked out with a glitch. Less than 5k into FUBAR I got killed. As I was drifting, I reached the on ramp for the highway. After the cutscene I was alive again and able to keep going. Made it 7.16k before the Hummer blew up.
Ok, here's my theory: It's a different driver every day, when he runs out of gas the zombies eat him. The owner of each garage takes a tow truck out to get the car and bring it back, then collects the video from the cameras hidden in the car and sells copies on Amazon. The profits are the next driver's budget for upgrades. Once a driver has gotten the school bus and maxed it out, all the video sales after that are pure profit.
Sailor420, I'm pretty sure that Vault 13 is a Fallout/Fallout2 reference. I'd always wondered if the "Vault Dwellers" in Arkandian Crusade were a nod to Fallout, and now I'm convinced they were.
@JREM_05: If you use the Divine Intervention potion, then the next time you get killed you'll be instantly resurrected with 25 hit points.
@chris117788: To get the last potion, you have to have gotten the Crafting Legend achievement in Arkandian Legend and still have the save file on your computer.
@zenth: It seems that only white walls count for that.
Discovered a neat thing you can do with gems and enchanting. I took a bunch of gems with +2 to +4 Hit Chance bonuses, and used them on a 4-socket shield. I destroyed 3 of the gems before getting 4 of them to work, and ended up with a +11 Hit Chance shield. I disenchanted the shield and got a +11 Hit Chance gem, ready to be used on a different item. Be advised that even with an Enchanting skill of 1000, you'll destroy a lot of gems trying to get 4 of the same type to work on one item, and most of the time disenchanting that item won't produce a gem. Still, if you have a lot of low bonus gems to work with, it might be worth the effort.
Ranger's Path Challenge: +30 waves, Double enemies. Put a Ranger on the green tile where the paths come together, don't build any other combat towers, just keep upgrading and buffing the Ranger. Your champion is going to work pretty hard at first, but eventually he'll just need to pick off the occasional leaker. Divide Challenge: Overkill counts towards the total, so spam Guard towers and speed buffs at the entrance. Put other towers on the appropriate tiles, plus a wizard on the high ground near the exit. Expect to be teleporting your champion between the entrance and the exit for much of the first half. With +30 waves, Double enemies, and +25% Health I did about 262,000 damage.
