This is a very cool game, and I am enjoying it thoroughly. But it really throws me off using ESDF for movement instead of WASD. I dunno your design choice there, but if there could be a way to rebind, would be much better.
Hey, thanks for your comment! I used WASD initially but it throws off AZERTY users. Using ESDF was the easiest way to make it easy for everyone. You can also use JoyToKey to map controls to a gamepad!
Nice clickbait title? Game is not hard. I remember a game similar to this that was all about navigating tunnels with randomly spawned obstacles that was easily 1000x better than this, but when I can rack up a decent score using only one directional key, you know something is wrong.
My one suggestion: Checkpoints. It's frustrating getting most of the way through the level (Which was pretty hard to do to begin with), to have one little mess up, and have to do it all over again. It's not adding to the difficulty, it's not fun to replay all that, it's just annoying. Please, for the love of god, add checkpoints.
I love the game, been really enjoying it, but I've had this issue where I press down on numbers and sometimes they lock completely and won't unlock at all, which is a serious problem sometimes, because in this particular puzzle I'm on, I know 100% for a fact that this permanently locked number needs to be changed for me to win. It would finish the row and column, and finish the game for me, but I can't unlock it. It's really frustrating.
Tried to start up the game today, just keep getting a white screen. Not sure what changed, but mildly annoyed. Any help you might be able to offer me, devs? Would be appreciated.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I was halfway through the hard puzzles and I come back and all my progress is gone... All my achievements, my badges, my money, my experience, all of it gone... Is there any way at all to get my stuff back, because otherwise I'm really not willing to play this again. It's a fantastic game that I've spent hours on, but if I have to start all over, that's just too demoralizing.
Simply fantastic game. I'd give it a higher rating than 5 if I could, but I can't. I never really feel the need to comment on a game, but this one was so fantastic, I feel it deserves some respect. Very good job, I hope to see more from you in the future.
The game is rather simplistic, especially in that it tells you the solution to all the problems. I can understand the little videos to show you new capabilities, like the panda ladder and stuff, but then the arrows continue to point out literally everything. Not really puzzling at all and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone 10 and up.
I'm a little curious as to what the hell is going on with these blue chests. I click, and it says that there's not enough space, so I go around to reveal the whole map, and it still says that. It's really rather annoying, especially because I just used a whole ruby to open a door that had one of said chests. And it's not even for all of them. I've opened a few, and then some of these just won't open, it's rather annoying. Can someone please explain what I'm supposed to be doing?
Okay, I got a serious problem with this game... Namely, it's way too damn easy. You upgrade the pistol and all you eve need to do is run up and down, firing constantly, up until you get the chaingun, at which point, you do the exact same thing, just with the chaingun. No other weapon is needed, and it's pretty simple. The people assisting you are hardly necessary. Maybe make it a bit harder for the future, so you actually have to use the different weapons, or make certain things be weak to certain gun and strong against the others.
You took my love of old video games, and my love of video game music, especially old video game music, and put it into a very wondefully made flash game. Marry me.
