The difficulty curve of this game is levels 1-14: "lol cake walk, just upgrade you main hero" to level 15: "lol dodge all this purple shit under your feet the has almost no predictor"
There is not enough comments about this, am I the only one whose biggest issue is yellow dots falling from the top of the screen during later stages of the game?
My biggest issue, which still hasn't been made clear to me ingame, is figuring out rare bonuses. My best guess at it at this point is that rings trigger the bonus effects on other gear? But it's just not always clear. From the way things are worded, I first believed that having any two items in a set would trigger the effects of each other, but in my experience with different sets, necklaces consistantly don't trigger the effects of weapons. So I think it must be rings? Then does the A10 necklace just not have a bonus set effect? That seems weird to me.
Very happy to see this out, this is an excellenent second game, with improvements in all the right directions. I feel I actually have to do math on this one instead of just dragging things that add to ten to make patterns.
...and patterns could also be something important in future levels... :)
