Really great game until I got stuck after fighting a guy. Now I can't get any further. Needs a 'respawn' option or something to be able to continue. Would be an awesome game if not for that.
Wow... Great game. I loved the storyline first of all- it was incredibly deep and really kept you guessing the entire time. I can say that I did not expect that ending at all. The game play was also very good. Simple enough to still be able to enjoy the story line, but complex enough to still make you think about it. I really hope there is a sequel.
A possibly great game, completely ruined in the pursuit of money. I'm really annoyed at the amount of these popping up now. The gameplay for the most part is fine, but the energy mechanics are just stupid. First, in a game like this, it doesn't make sense. Second, the time it takes to actually regain energy is outrageous. To get to a fight it literally takes a good few hours of sitting and waiting unless you're willing to pay real money just to keep the game going. So to me, and I feel many others, the game is rendered pretty much unplayable.
The amount of times I've sat there clicking redraw on the first card for half of the game is astounding. Too much random luck in this game makes it pretty much impossible to enjoy.
Easily one of the best games I have played on Kongregate. It'a one of those games that shows how a simple concept can become an amazing game just through brilliant ideas. There were so many times that I would think, "Okay, what could be next?" and then the developer threw in some other mechanic that I would have never even thought of. It was just challenging enough to be fun while still not being 'I give up' annoying. A masterpiece like this shows that games don't need to be complex and crazy to be fun. Thank you for a great game!
For a tip, you can actually pause the game when you are stalling and still press the buttons to stop from stalling, making it really easy to get a quick boost.
I've never seen so many people just dump bags of garbage in the halls of a hotel like that before. Apparently you can't hire people to make rules and kick them out.
Nerdook, yet another great game set in a new perspective! This game flips the usual standard, letting you take the place of the evil AI, with unbelievably easy controls and fun gameplay. Just a quick tutorial and go!
Such a good game. I love the symbolism of each part. The flowers you start at being the flowers by the grave, the green door at the end being the green box she was buried in... Even the dialogue was a perfect show of what the story was about, in this sort of story telling narrative. I also love how the gameplay was set up, with you being alone, working by yourself, learning how to get through the challenges of life, then you meet someone that you rely on, that relies on you. Then the way you kill her. How you end up on your own again. How you have to learn to solve things alone. Really, beautiful work.
This was one of the greatest games I have played in awhile. The interesting gameplay, the beautiful artwork, the captivating story line. . . It was a refreshing game to play. Even the different characters and their personalities gives this a sort of 'dream like' feel. From the beginning, this game captured my interest; starting in a gloomy room with a grand piano, letting me play the Chicken Dance as the first thing to do in the game. There's only two things that I can critique. One, the title of the game sort of gave away the ending, as open ended as it was. It almost made me assume that this was all a coma induced dream world, but didn't faze me too much. The second was that you had to click during the dialogue, when it would be easier to use a space bar and the arrow keys. But it was pretty quick and easy to get used to, as I was more interested in the story line of the game. Now, if only it was longer! Thank you so much for this great game and addition to Kongregate, Wittyhobos!
Wow, an amazing game. I loved it. Major replay value, interesting game play, even the adventure types are different. Brilliant use of skills, too. Refinement gets boost from Lady Mage, ect. A definite favourite from me. Keep up the amazing work; however, music and sound effects need more variety and items need working on. I used the same staff the entire game since there were no other ones.
Not the best pandemic... They have done much better in the past. As others have stated, definitely needs a speed button. i have found myself sitting for minutes at a time, waiting for something to happen. Also, I have found this game to be hard.. But not in a challenging way. More in a 'Bloody well stop getting infected!' way. Interesting concept, but it would have been better, in my opinion, to have been the Swine Flu. Stick with the original Pandemic formula, it was much more entertaining.
