Ok, so a few things. First of all, the music and sound effect are not engaging at all. Secondly, a "progress towards the next sale" bar or indicator would be great. The arbitrary "you are 41.1% towards the next sale" or whatever is just, well, arbitrary. Show me how my direct action makes a direct impact. The achievements are hollow and I have no drive to push towards any of them in particular. I think there's a great game lurking in here, but it requires a lot more work first.
Excellent, creative, and truly something I would like to see fully fleshed out. Maybe multiple branching paths? This was extremely well done and one of the most imaginative games I've played on Kongregate. Very well done!
I'm really enjoying this game. One thing I would like to see is a greater differentiation in color between items you can purchase and those you cannot. Either make those you cannot afford lighter or those you can afford darker. Aside from that, I agree with MSpekkio, story would be really nice and so would sound. Finally, achievements which grant further bonuses would be really cool (e.g. once you purchase 50 of each, each item gets multiplied by 1.5 and so on at certain intervals). Thanks for the great game and keep up the good work!
Now that I've bought the first "see how much money this industry makes per second", I can't see how long until that industry is done generating money. Why did that over-ride the counter? It wasn't like that in the original UI and I think I liked it more that way.
Sorry, also, could we give money away to charity? Curing world hunger? Fixing ridiculously large problems with the world with our nonillions? If Bill Gates can be charitable, why can't we?
I love this game. I was talking with a friend about the "point" of this game, and it brought up a couple ideas that I'm actually pretty fond of. First off, I assume that profits earned are net, not gross, in that they take into account assumed losses. It would be neat to see those losses, giving this more of an actual business simulator feel. Second, our managers are paid once and while that's a good way of seeing our money grow, it would be neat if they were paid "monthly" (maybe every 30 clicks if you take a click to equal a day?). In the vein of individual businesses, in addition to the available upgrades, it would be cool if you could fine tune the businesses themselves, changing location or marketing, each with more expense attached to them as they increase and again seeing them deducted at regular intervals. I realize this defeats some of the "idle" purpose of the game. But something to consider if nothing else. This game is the best thing I've seen on Kongregate yet.
Love the game. Love the graphics, love how fuzzy the controls can be, love the style. My favorite part, honestly, is his hair in the wind when he moves. The attention to detail is incredible. Keep it up!
