Bug: I was running on my laptop, and left the wireless (so no connection). I closed my laptop with BL still running, and forgot about it. Later when I reopened, the browser had quit (computer may have rebooted for updates). I went back to BL and my whole save is lost (starting at level 0).

Bug found: I was fighting the scorpion boss and killed it, then died while it was spewing out crystals (there were still some bombs in the air). When I restarted and chose "fight Boss again", I was fighting the ship boss. Also, I had no health and was invulnerable.

I can't imagine how this got badged. Try level 25 if you want to see dudes smiling away with their heads wedged between giant slabs of rock, impervious to the many tons upon them...

I keep noticing that when there are no enemies on the screen, some of my guys suddenly lose about 50% of their health. Not sure if this is a bug, or an issue with the homing missiles, or what. Seems kind of harsh, though. I'm pretty sure it's not an enemy firing from off screen. Also, the triple bomber attacks are really unpleasant...

Another hint: when feeling stuck, scan around for imbalanced rows/columns with only X or O left, like 4-1 in the 10x10. Usually you can figure out where the last X goes.

Of course, you always have to use the "if I have 5 empty spots in a row and 1 X remaining, it must go in the middle" type of logic to keep things flowing...

The 6x6s and (most of) the 8x8s can be solved simply by avoiding 3-in-a-row and following the logic. For the 10x10s, when you feel stuck start double-checking the rows and columns for potential identicals. You *never* have to guess, though sometimes it feels that way. Often a missing pair of spots has to be O-X instead of X-O to avoid making an identical row/column.

There's a quest-money imbalance too. To even have a chance of completing many of the 10x quests, I have already upgraded my money-making and power-up skills. Consequently, the 100 and 200 gold rewards are pointless.

Some issues: -the quests should come in an easy-medium-hard order. It's frustrating to have the 10x combo or 10-box quest early, and waste that spot for a long time. -bouncing on 2+hit monsters should not break the combo streak, only hitting the ground. -there should be a double jump upgrade to help with steering and combo management.

Seems to be a bug if you get more than 9 grenades. If flashed to an odd starlit night picture briefly (while the game continued in the background: sound, movement, etc.), then when it returned I had no grenades and couldn't get more even when picking them up.

Needs more enemy types for each world, as well as different bullet types. Right now there are only two bullet types, but damage can vary enormously from the first world to the last. Change the colors at least as the enemies level up. But more importantly, new enemy types, not just tougher versions of the old ones. The upgrade system is good, although more variety (weapon types, etc.) and steadier upgrading would be nice. More upgrades combined with more money at the higher levels. TURBO goes a long way to making it playable...

Finally. Another tip: the last segment of 59 is much easier if you just launch yourself straight down the hallway and ignore the final row of blue magnets. It's easier to maneuver with the magnet after the big crushing block than to try to steer within the tunnel.

For those who hate level 55, I feel your pain. There's a short-cut, however. Use the first yellow magnet that activates to jump to the center. Now you're going the wrong way, so do a U-turn, then use the center yellow magnet to jump across. Now you have a few blue-mediated turns before you're heading down the center purple stretch. MUCH faster. Now if only I could manage level 59... :-(

Note: Penetrate seems to decrease damage per shot. Get rid of it before the final level, when only the Laser can save you.

Simplest way to avoid a long grind: get to level 6 with the auto rifle and repeat it. This level gives pretty good money, and you can easily kill almost all the baddies. Before shooting the last couple, go to Menu and Abort Mission. Repeat until you can buy the 4xMoney, then continue pretty easily. I suggest Penetrate and 4xDamage next.

As mentioned elsewhere, saving works if you refresh the browser after each save. Every few days I save, exit, and refresh. So far, I haven't lost anything.

This game isn't great, but it's not as bad a grind as it has to be. You only need two ducks: one all-around super-duck, and one duck with 0 flying and about 100 run/swim/climb. Minigames: 2nd/3rd run, 3rd swim, 2nd climb, 3rd fly, and 2nd/3rd jump should all easily get 5-8 improvement per attempt with minimal time (swim gives the least). Focus entirely on one duck the whole game, with high energy. At some point you need the 0-fly duck for a climbing challenge (very annoying requirement, btw). Otherwise, one duck, focus on the fastest games, and it shouldn't take *too* long.

This is the fourth time I've tried to play this, with two different browsers (Opera and Chrome). Each time, it crashes after a while and erases my save games. I've wasted several hours of game time for no result. Very, very frustrating...

After failing repeatedly to get past the final stage (~1500), I realized that it was the gunners and homing missiles that did me in. And there's no law that says you have to spend all your XP each turn. Simply max out the other 3, and maybe a few gunners to bulk up the airspace, but don't buy any homers until you have all the money you need to buy all 10 levels. Makes the long combos much easier before fuel runs out.

A suggestion for the final boss: I found it *much* easier to beat when I switched to using the mouse. For normal levels I prefer the keyboard, but for the fine movements necessary to stay within a bullet cage or lead the missiles around the mouse is much better. For the other two attacks, just hide in the upper corner (make sure not to touch the boss). I used the laser since the side laser keeps doing damage even when hiding, but pulse may do the job more quickly.
