Here are some quick suggestions, I've been really enjoying the game for the last few days... Show how many of each circle has been bought, show how many times each circle has been ascended.. those would just help feed that nice OCD 'make things bigger' impulse that drives these types of games. Also just some better tooltips and explanations. Still not sure what Max Amount Promotion does. Loving it though, thanks!
Man, replaying the whole series and loving it! These games made me a Kongregate addict... When that Kongregate logo with the ant came on I knew I was in for a great game. One of my character's names: "Greg, yes that Greg". Man I still use Kong every day but I miss the personality it used to have!
I also have the hardest time clicking and dragging the items around the inventory, belt and shops. It seems to be a little too particular where you drop them and I probably only get success 50% of the time... a bit tedious IMO
I'm still working hard to improve the game. I've had a lot of complains about dragging... it's because it targets the mouse cursor and not the item you are dragging. I'm aware that it's awkward and once I have a few other bugs solved I'm going to take care of this too.
EDIT: Fixed in the latest version! Woohoo!
No idea what's going on or if either of these are supposed to happen, but my health potions go to 0 after used and stay in inventory. They cannot be sold to remove them in the shop but can be "sold" during adventures. Also my characters health reached 0 and then he became invincible after that.
Why thank you! We do our best. It is getting a little harder to keep up with responding to all the comments in a timely manner, but we will continue to do what we can. As gamers, we have always loved active and responsive devs, and we wanted to model that with our game, as well.
Suggestion: How about being able to convert orbs to hellstones, maybe at half their respective absorption cost? IE: Blue orbs could be converted to 1 hellstone, green to 2 and red to 3?
Also to my point below, extractors stop having bonuses after a certain point too, which sort of contributes to this plateau. In fact, keeping their bonuses going even every 500 levels or so would maybe offset what I described.
Biggest problem with troops in later dimensions is that I can never build enough of them for them to make any difference in later battles. You can't upgrade the crystalin extractors directly past a certain point (besides very slowly through ultra orbs), and you need to be able to easily max your troops out for them to be of some purpose for later battles. Unfortunately the cost to create their buildings goes up so much faster than your income... That being said, my heroes are whooping everything so it doesn't stop me from progressing, but troop and buildings may need a bit of a revamp. All that I'm describing basically happens about halfway through every dimension right now. FYI i've upgraded my heroes and troops almost the same amount with orbs.
We'll be increasing the cap on the extractor cost reduction, and also adding an output boost in the time machine, roughly around the same time there will be more things to spend the crystalin on. Consequently, getting all your troops maxed out will be much easier.
Suggestion: how about an auto-recruit upgrade? Basically it would always be trying to build the max amount of each unit type, taking away from your per second crystalin to compensate the steady stream. It would stop if/when units reach their max.
Everybody saying its too easy, or too hard... I think you just need to play more. The initial process to gain orbs eventually will make it satisfyingly quick paced, but- once you start going to higher dimensions it stops being a total walkthrough...
This game is seriously fun... BUT- after I play for 15 or 20 minutes it goes from silky smooth to extremely choppy (especially with grenade explosions). 5/5 for me anyways, but if it were possible I'd definitely suggest the developer take another look at the code to try to keep the game running fast and smooth.
Boy am I glad I came back and tried this game again... in literally a day or two everything that was in my eyes cumbersome with the game has been addressed! Thanks!
Been trying to play this game for a few days now... Mac and Firefox. It wont load and sits on a black screen with this error: "An error occured running the Unity content on this page. See your browser's JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
SecurityError: The operation is insecure."
