Game is too easy without ninjas, way too hard with ninja bosses. Poor balance between tower types, poor map variety. Difficulty is increased by simply shortening the enemy path. The fact that level 10 ninja bosses have 2500 health, and your meteor does max 2000 damage, plus the fact it can reach your gem without turning visible = a horrible design. Add in the fact that you need grind to earn skill points and then realise the ninja boss requires extreme luck to kill - the first tower to hit it is the slow crypt + proc-ing on fear or frozen.
It would've been so much easier to just give each track a visible name in the game, then you wouldn't need explanations in the achievements trying to describe to people which track it is.
The one thing I liked about this game is the imagery and the atmosphere. The rest of it was "meh". Perhaps I'm just too numb to shocks so I found them cheesy. The whole "photograph moving objects" was so funny - how do you prove movement by taking a picture?! Lol. Funny how the ghosts try to lock you in but tell you to get out. Also... who the heck in the right mind would "let me spend some more time here" despite ghostly messages telling you to get the hell out. And lastly... well... what sane person would think "Ooo look! Red candles! Let me just light that bloody pentagram for the heck of it!"
Found a really bad bug. I had Kelly with me and I saved before talking to Hank. For some reason Hank took Kelly's weapon instead of using the rifle I brought him. I tried reloading and voila, both companions disappeared.
This game's like farmville in a way - there's a very small amount of gameplay - in-game currency buys you very few cards, a huge wad of cash buys very few cards too, just better ones. And there's the 100-card limit for supposedly being a collectible card game. The energy bar is a joke. There are a huge number of missions in this game that require you to wait 1-2 hours to "play" for about 5 seconds. Did I mention it's like farmville? The more you pay, the better you can play, and even though it's so blatantly obvious that it's a cash grab (compared to the previous version of the game), just like farmville, so many people are lining up and throwing them cash. No wonder they made the new version a cash grab.
The fuel thing coupled with gameplay that depends on pure luck makes for a games that pretty difficult to enjoy. The classic and enhanced modes are fun enough for a while, to get high scores. The adventure was horribly grindy - based purely on luck. The last boss, I had a run where the dish kept shooting so many missiles at me that I couldn't even fall down, much less hit the target. The target was unnecessarily difficult to hit. At least make the dish take damage.
Really repetitive. And the words could be larger. Also.... "OFFE" is bugged. Twice I've seen that and I can't type it. Now I have "OFFE" shuriken thrower who keeps throwing shurikens at me and the game does not register me killing him. 26 letters of the alphabet and none of it can kill him, lol.
