Adding to @linty's advice, once you obtain the Sneak Attack spell and cast it during your first move, you can kill the enemy THREE times! You'll need it to grind everything up for Unholy Temple and beyond!
All things considered, I found this game to be pretty nice. The game mechanics and balancing allow pretty much all aspects from cars to technologies and sponsors to remain relevant... However, it's very, very heavy on the active gameplay side later on, and I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly anymore. I'm spending hours doing buyouts and rushing back up to max in order to buy just one more car. I'm at 23 cars and I dunno if I want to sink in anymore time to slowly snail my way there. I kind of wish the leaderboards had a buyout section, so I can get a general idea of just how many are needed to get to the end. As it stands, it's just way too much time spent to get to the next tier... and 30 still seems so far away from 23...
(Sorry, don't know how to edit my previous comment).
Regarding level 15, it seems that if you finish it up with Yellow, it still counts as a "Fail", even if you did it all correctly.
Slight Spoilers/Bug for Level 15: I am not sure why or how, but when I use the colors Red, Blue, Green, then Yellow, it tells me I failed the level even though that fills up the whole grid. (Didn't specify where to click, although that should be clear enough.)
I really like the ability to ascend and choose other classes and races. However, I have ended up in a situation where I get killed in one hit because of it. I stuck with a human bard and, starting from level 8, proceeded to ascend every 2 levels. I am now a halfling wizard who is trying to get to the location of his first quest, but cannot even make it past the grass area without dying in one hit. Do you have any suggestions? I'm fine with just recreating another character, but I'm concerned about whether all the unlocked classes and races will still be available. Look forward to your next update!
Perfect! Now all you need to do is spawn several sequels where you actually have to max out your levels to barely beat the game!
Anyway, that was pretty funny.
