Clearly the developer did not play his/her own game. Grind a level 20 times before getting good enough gear and proceed to the next level. Decent concept with poor execution.
Chapter 2 starts a few weeks after the end of chapter 1. Also, it would make the new challenges in chapter 2 weak if you had a stash of herbs carried over ;)
the first skills that you should go for is souls and exp multiplier. It helps through the long run. One thing i noticed, the type of enemy appears equals to the number of times you hit the door. 1 type of enemy appear if hit once. Two types of enemy if hit twice. By the way i won by farming until i got the best sword and good equipment.
1 tip i want to share. never use alchemist pistol skill near lava in act 2. i shot an enemy with pistol skill and it pushed me into the lava. i died instany.
the lottery ticket is so slow, instead of showing one by one, why not show all 3 in a go. the display time can be a bit longer and it is better this way.
I suggestion I give is to allow the upgrades to be controlled. For example, I want it t be more difficult, I can tune down the upgrades. this will make the game having more replay value.
The thing is: without upgrades, you would be even slower than in RS1. I could add a reset button tho. Anyway we hear you guys, we gonna think about that and learn from it!
a few more variable of weapons is needed (only one melee weapon?). What to do with the extra money. My suggestion is to make the inventory expandable and each refill will cost money (of course basic equipment don't cost money). Mission can add some variety as well, example escort a VIP to secure location and VIP must not die. It will definitely add some challenge. Overall good job done. 4/5.
There is a cheating method. when attacking enemy. just keep switching the 1st and 2nd front melee units to minimize damage done to you. and let the archers damage the enemy. despicable but effective method.
