Okay, one quick request... tweak the meteor bombardment some please? Was doing one of the hard levels, had it saved up for a bad moment, and there were a bunch of hounds and heavy skeletons and I didn't have enough to stop them- or at least, that's what I thought. But anyway, I called down the bombardment... And hit almost entirely the heavy skeletons in the top right, leaving a few dozen hounds charging me. If it wasn't for quickly popping a few other spells, that could've been really bad. Just saying, the spell seriously needs to spread out some, or it's hard to justify saying it's a full-field devastation thing.
Just wanted to say: Got a reply about the crashes. Developer asked me to use IE in order to prevent crashes. Which is similar to one (or both) of two things, depending on the day. Asking me to impale myself on a spike through my genitals in order to prevent a minor itch, or asking me to ensure my house is doused in gasoline and is a suitable oxygen-rich environment to prevent fires. Take your pick.
*Other guy says five words* *ENTIRE MONTH PASSES*
*Meets the black robes recruiter for the 5th time and, despite said recruiter being no more powerful than the last 4 times, still has to fight again, despite having won every previous fight*
*Is the number one mage and the white mage and is about to become the great mage, but has to have some really epic battles f- oh wait no you get to skip two of these battles never mind*
Just reminding you that every game, whether you love it or not, is sometimes senseless, confusing, and even stupid... And may also have a bug where you press and hold enter in order to get infinite stat points... I won't tell you how to do it though! (Trust me, you can find it if you want)
Oh, hey, you actually responded to my other thing! I want to give you a bit of advice. Preface the autocalibration with the following: "Calibration is done to synchronize the visuals with your computer and responses. To properly calibrate, close your eyes and tap along with the the beat!"
... Or something along those lines.
@goathem ... You DID do the auto-calibration at the very beginning so you could be perfectly on-beat, right? My advice... recalibrate and close your eyes. Dit dit dit dit dit dit... Etc.
Thanks! I've decided i should take out the auto-calibration completely for the desktop version I think, cause it relies on people being good at calibrating for the entire game to work. My other game Rhythm Doctor just used some default settings I experimented with for Mac and Windows, and that seemed to work fine.
Honestly, I figured out the timing and such for the first level set really easily. Then the second level set was a bit harder. The third level set was easy to LEARN... But damn it's crushing me on the song! (Which is awesome, by the way!)
... Invisible does not equal invincible. If my bullet aimed for the zombie over there can also kill the refugee who gets in the way, it damn well better be able to kill the invisible guy too!
"Let us play chess..." 'It is not the time for chess. Unless you want to stay.' "Yes."
That was approximately my ending. I decided I'd rather have a little companionship as I die...
I'd call this a crappy time-waster, but it's not even a time-waster. You have to have something ELSE to do so you can waste your time WHILE playing this crappy time-waster! Every battle you EVER fight will be a complete waste of time because it's ENTIRELY up to the game what happens. NO player input. HOW IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN?!
Hmmm... An all damage/speed quickspell with holy light has 106 attack (with my current bonuses, which are coniderable, but apply to both mages here) and attacks just under once a second... And the all damage destructor with holy light has 535 damage and attacks just under once every one and a half seconds... 94.22 repeating dps for quickspell (not counting buff effects, which are tiny) vs. 319.403 dps (Again, not counting buffs)... So... Inflictor for effects, otherwise, destructor. Just go destructor.
I've given it a 5/5 and even bought the game. It's just... I can't resist! I've thoroughly enjoyed the first two acts... and I kinda also wanna know what's going on!
Got that, I'll try to spread it.
