What I did:
I built only reactors around the initial position, and left one space free to build offense. I built 3 blasters, shut them off, fully charged, and placed them on the rise to the right. Finally filled up the last free slot with another reactor (collecting 2.8 of energy by its completion) and, when it was done, I activated and flew the 3 blaster to the low ground to the right of the base. Not in contact with it but with just enough room to place a node that would connect them. With that done, I was collecting almost 3 units of energy, and using as much. I crawled slowly to the right, got to the rise I've used before and from there launched the counter offense.
