The physics in this game make no sense, and by making you lose control of your piece as soon as it touches any part of the tower you destroy any kind of precise control. This game is total crap.

This game is unplayable for anyone on a laptop. Since I'm right handed, I have to use the mouse with my right hand and the arrow keys with my left hand, which leaves me in an uncomfortable position the entire game. You need to remind players how to switch weapons when new weapons become available. I read the instructions quickly, but then I got a new weapon and couldn't remember which key to press. I also can't be bothered to use the mouse to hit the pause button when I'm in the middle of action--let me use a keyboard key to do that. Also, it doesn't seem like the different levels actually do anything. I look exactly the same even when I evolve. Finally, whenever I defeat an enemy, I move at super-fast speeds temporarily. This is odd. Please fix it.

So after Day 20 or 21 or whichever it is where the bomber planes start showing up, they no longer appear in the background and I have to shoot randomly at air hoping to hit them. Please fix this now.

The code as-is has a bit of a memory leak. Since you put the enemy ships into the enemies array, but never take them out after they're destroyed, the enemies array gets larger and larger. The way to remedy this: when removing an enemy ship within the EnemyShip class, insert the following code: for (var i=0; i < enemies.length; i++) { if (this == enemies[i]) { enemies.splice(i,1); break; } } This will find where in the array the particular enemy ship is and remove it.

One last rant. If you're going to disable damage for kicks because players abuse them, disable damage for kicks for the gladiators too, because they spam kicks just as much.

Danknugz: That's great for the regular game mode. Unfortunately, in gladiator mode, when you really need to be able to strategize, you DON'T get to pick the moves you want, it's just random. Another reason this game is horribly flawed.

Hey look, it's just like Achilles, but with all the bugs fixed... Wait, wait, no, all the bugs are still there. - Enemies can attack you after they've had their heads cut off - Enemies are not stunned and keep attacking after they get kicked - Damage is completely random and arbitrary, and an enemy can reduce you to 1/4 life with one hit while each of your hits barely knocks him down by 1/10 - Enemies (particularly spearmen) can just keep spamming the same attack. And since they're faster than you and have more range than you, it's practically impossible to get an opening. - Which move you do is completely random. Forward+attack will sometimes do the short range powerhouse move that I want, and other times will do a long range move on a nonexistent enemy and just leave me open for attack. I don't know why you would make another Achilles without changing anything at all. This game fills me with rage.

Calyad's method from a few pages ago works, but I recommend building a few more missile launchers and economic centers before you bother with advanced energy and laser defenders. Ended with 4415M and $10643B
