Not only have I lost a progress of 78 levels (why is not saving even an option, let alone the default one?!?) I constantly lose progress on individual levels because the reset button triggers if you hover over it with the mouse down! Same problem with the other buttons, but this is the most annoying one.
Greying out clues seems to be a standard addition to these sort of puzzles.
The "fill" (purple) and "empty" (grey) modes should be parallel. Right now there's no way to fill when in empty mode, yet you can empty in fill mode.
Great game, but the music is too loud compared to the sound effects. Volumes of the music tracks need to be normalized, too (or I fiddled with my volume control so much that I can't tell that they already are). Also, the camera jumping up at the slightest provocation (i.e. jump) is VERY annoying.
A balanced team also works -- bombers shred through the undead and fire mages take care of the rest.
Too bad it doesn't have survival/endless, we could be testing formations...
The hardest one of all was climbing the 4x2 orange crusher blocks on the left wall. It was very annoying to respawn at the bottom right and take the two-block elevator up every time. And I jumped down while exploring after I got the blue puzzle piece and had to do this one twice! :(
Great atmosphere, great music, amazing drawings! Might just be me, but I was able to instantly identify with the character and ended up clicking on everything to hear what she had to say. Wish there was a long version I could buy.
I like how the incomprehensibility of the layout mixes with the unpredictability of door-affecting doors to give you the experience of a headless chicken in a road block factory.
Coins stay on too briefly, especially for a game with flaky jumps and where getting hit AND missing a coin both reset the combo. Actually, combos are not needed to finish this game so it's Kongregate's fault that we're wasting a lot of time with this game. Still, a reset button would've been nice. 4/5
WAY too hard. Where to begin... The AI is amazingly stupid and only useful as a meat shield. The little damage they do does not matter since the stages are too long. The only reason to upgrade them is that your own upgrades (the few of them there are) are ridiculously expensive. The runes are not worth risking the tiny little amount of gold you get from inevitably failing the stage. The roll mechanic is useless as it doesn't work in the diagonal direction (which you want to constantly be moving in, unless you want to get killed early) and the warning you get before enemy attacks is not enough to execute the roll. The bosses kill you in 2-3 hits, what?
Thanks for the feedback! We absolutely want to make this into a bigger experience that could be sold someday, but one step at a time for now! :D
