Okay, I'm not sure why some losers keep voting my post down, but seriously, and I'm SERIOUS! Does anyone else here find "impossible" too easy? I can't be the ONLY person who finds this too easy. Has anyone else even beatin' "impossible yet?
"Impossible" is TOO EASY! I would go as far as saying it's kind of boring....
I just finish impossible with a "typical" sized town, it's just a easy as "small" and "huge". I played "impossible" 4 times, and won all 4 times.
Is anyone else finding it too easy?
Rebuild 1 was harder.
Am I the only one who finds "impossible" a bit too easy?
So far I won "impossible" 3 out of 3 times. Twice on a "small" map and once on the "huge" map. Am I doing something wrong? Why is it easy?
What is the most difficult map in your opinion?
P.S. I found "impossible" on ReBuild 1 much more difficult.
Strategy for NIGHTMARE:
(I beat nightmare 11 times so far, this is what I do)
When you start, examine your board and expand you fort towards the area with the most Farms and Houses.
Expand to the edge of the board, DO NOT spread out. Stay tight.
DON'T RUSH! Reclaim squares, expand, and recruit and a steady pace. Stay balanced with food, houses and people. Watch your stats and don't take on too much.
Get a Lab asap. Study Zombie Vitals, then Stealth, then AntiVenom. FORGET about the rest!! Once you have AntiVenom, the game is yours. It should take 36 turns plus however long it takes to secure a Lab.
Always use more than one person to research. Does not have to be a scientist. Use 2 or 3 to reasearch in case 1 gets killed.
That's really the main stuff. There other details, but I'm limited to 1000 chars. :-)
Nightmare: I won my first nightmare after about 10 tries, and my second after another 10. Now I win nightmare about every 5 games. I won nightmare 7 times in the last 50 or so games.
Suggestions: You will have a large advantage if your board starts off with a Farm, Laboratory, Police Station, School, or a Hospital near by. Try to get each one of these as soon as you can. Preferably in the order I just listed them.
Do not reclaim useless squares. Do not spread out your fort too much. Stay tight. Try and reach the border if you can.
As soon as you get a laboratory, study Zombie Vitals, then Stealth, then Antivenom. Use at least 2 or 3 men (not necessarily scientists) to do the research, just in case 1 or 2 die. You don't want to start from the beginning again.
It starts getting tough around Day 40-45. If you start loosing men and squares then give up, you will not win. You need to be strong enough to withstand days 40-50. If you do, you should be able to finish.
