What really messes me up here is that it's 5$ to beat a game that takes about an hour to complete. If this is all you've got to give for 5$-- just currency for the game, no additional content-- I don't think anyone has any reason to actually buy from you. A lot of kong developers make this mistake of thinking it will pan out, but the most you're making will be from kids who take their parents' debit cards without understanding the possible consequences of their actions. Of course, I like the game itself, but this method of microtransaction is the slimiest and most fruitless thing I've ever seen in a flash game. It hurts you and it annoys everyone else. WHAT IS THE POINT?
What I really recommend is giving the skills more thematic names.
Use shakespearean english and/or make callbacks to the play! For instance: Shukuchi - > Montague's Guile. Avalanche - > Sundered Earth.
While juliet is swinging her sword, she should stick with the direction she's swinging. For a weapon like the dagger switching directions makes sense, but for the greatsword and possibly the staff (Haven't tried using staff yet) it's a little tougher to control unless you can strafe. You gotta really emphasize that weight! An alternative is just to add a strafe "modifier" key if you catch my drift.
Overall, pretty good game! A little too short, but overall a fun little idea. Tune it up, add a little more skill & combat content and it'll be a 5 in my opinion.
A suggestion! Perhaps the career for adventuring could increase the chance of a positive outcome for certain actions. Just had that idea. Hope the new update comes soon! I wanna see the house!
This game's awful. The character designs presume that any guy playing it will automatically submit to the ever-looming breasts of elven women. That's not how making a game works, guys. Not only that? But really? You seriously think charging ingame currency for skipping CUTSCENES is a good idea?! NOPE NO NOPE THANKS NO NO WAY STOP IT
Nice soundtrack! I really appreciated the variance in it. I do feel as though the lead-in was a little overplayed-- the bells, I mean. It got a little annoying after a little while. Either way, very nice game. Thanks for sharing it.
5/5. "Really cool" is the only way I can explain this.
The way the panning went, the shiver that went up my spine, and the fluidity and simplicity of it all was just...Really cool.
The fact that it breaks after the song's over doesn't even bother me enough to rate it 4/5.
Believe it or not, you are in your house.
