the start-up is pretty slow, but once you start making some compact installations (which are pretty difficult until you get certain upgrades), it becomes a bit more playable, the only suggestions i'd give would be to allow building rotation, and doing away with the small factory building areas, and just give us one large building to work with...
so, it seems after this patch, after buying the kitten and kraken, if you switch to a different menu and back the other pets will disappear until you prestige...
running this on a brand new computer, and it's starting to really lag after 24 (accounting for 20% buff) power bars, 1 vitamin, 11 nice shoes, 5 managers, and 1 ad...
needs performance options like quality, or disabling/removing the background animation...
Thank you for the reply, and yea i know what you mean about slippery especially with the space bar. I tried to offset this by adding a maximum height gain when you jump but unity freaked out and spat the ball in every direction for some reason lol. I'm working on the new levels tonight, each level is going to get harder and harder with new music per level and new obstacles.
managed to find all the ammo drops, and kill all the zombies on the map, and was disappointed to find out that there is nothing to indicate the end, no "you win" or "next wave" just running around in an empty limbo. great start though.
the design was good for a the idea some of the levels though took some time to figure out, and very few of the zombies were unnessesarily placed and just took up space, and some puzzles (specifically level 16) was rediculously difficult to figure out for being a simple layout. and the movement and hit areas could use some adjustment.
i got eaten by a spider........ i didn't even get to explore, i just got eaten by a gigantic motherf***ing spider. but good game, i definitely got a jump or two from it.
im not too fond of the whole offset controls, and it seems that the damage, energy, and shield upgrades dont have much of an effect on the overall gameplay.
there is a lot of potential in this, but maybe there could be more levels, you could add power-ups such as holding multiple blocks, high-jump, speed-up, and even health upgrades. you could also add other blocks with different properties to them like a purple block that allows you to bounce, an orange block that unctions as a teleportation block, and even add moving blocks. you could also add challenges that test the players skills, and when the player completes the challenge a gate will open to the next part of the level. these are some of the basic ideas that can be used to improve the overall function of the game.
This will be fixed in the next update
