You shouldn't have to pay to access beta!!!Players are game-testing at that point and doing the devs a favour, it's greedy to ask for money when they're helping you out!!! ):<
Finally beat it...level 14 is definitely the hardest. You want to send off the 2 groups round the edges, continually reproducing. This splits the attention of the long-range enemy. Then converge on their main group and with luck you can duke it out and win. Final boss is easier, just take out range first. As long as you have 7 or more attacking and replenishing you should win (I had 13 by the end).
RocketZX is right, pause is the way to win :D
Level 12 is the only hard one on Gold, as the Crystals grab the Power wells if you're not quick enough, and then it's their 2 bases against your 1. The trick is to take out one of their flanks quickly, then sell to get a Plant next to their crystal, and use symbiosis with the cheaper meteor.
Hmmm...quite an easy game. Used melee almost all the way through apart from on the 15-20 levels (exploding creatures). Money doesn't become a worry in the end. I only had Level 2 armour but had 60 health potions for level 25. Another advantage of melee is it's easier to collect gold.
Just completed it. If it's any consolation this game is VERY tricky, especially with the 4th boss as they don't run out of stamina and keep using Speed and heal spells.
It seems like the ONLY way to win is to spam all your units in one area as a blob, then rush them forward to the enemy line while using bombs. Even Units with 10 attack, and 10 defence can't hold the line win without rushing.
"It seems like a team of Shadowkiller +30 atk gem, Shadowkiller +15 atk gem, Shadowkiller +10 atk gem, Devour +500 hp gem/+350 hp gem/+200 hp gem, Corpseking +10 atk gem/+200 hp gem/+200 hp gem, seems to be one of the best teams you can have before getting juliet"- MasterAim
Every other deck is a lie, I've tried them all, none worked.
If you find this game hard, then try using this strategy. Firstly just flatten the land and make Castles, avoid contact with the opponent by expanding away from them and knocking down land if they try and bridge to you. Then there are several interesting ways to defeat them, as opposed to an army grind. You can use Swamps to kill their troop production, and make their buildings easy to take over. Generally Leaders are bad as anything can kill them. You can also use Water Storm Spam, as long as you have a building on higher elevation than the enemy (who usually builds 1 block above water). Another Tactic is Whirlpool Spam to destroy their entire base. It's very cost effective and is good at redirecting their attention from attacking to repairing their base. Hope that helps.
That achievement is still possible.
