you should have mentioned that your game is still in progress,
**stuff you MUST do**
-add a menu, presentation is very important
-add sound, that is also very important
-adjust the control, make the "thing" move toward the mouse not just jump to the mouse x_position where ever we click
if you do that you will have a finished game, which is REALLY the hard part for a new developer . ( read my little article about finishing a game here : http://alaslipknot.tumblr.com/post/65946170218/ive-been-trying-to-learn-game-developing-for )
once you finished your game, try making it more fun, add new stuff to the gameplay and ameliorate your graphics (just change and ask friend or people in dev forum, feed back always help )
one last thing,
don't give a damn about haters, am 100% sure that non of the hate comments are coming from a game developer, cause we all know how hard it is to make a game, specially when you are just getting started,
