Perhaps you could incorporate the mini-me monster shown at the end in the next one as some sort of attack method or a power amplifier for nearby structures? Considering the size of the normal and super varieties from just eating what waste is left over, what would happen if one of them was being continuously fed some garbage, or even better, nuclear waste? Stuff like this would be an interesting mechanic to add.
