@ Hell Pet, Feeding the dragon is worth it because it give advice, and sometimes pays you back by giving you dragon boost(perm +max boost), Garden points, Boosts, and such.
@math master, EPic skills pay for themselves, but you should wait till you're like, level 1000 for them to not burn your money.
