For the heart hints, I don't think I fully get it. There are levels (must be around 62 or so) that have only the hearts and I don't see how I can begin without guessing.
I completed an adventure but forgot to spend the talent points. After I completed another adventure, I should've been able to upgrade twice, but after upgrading once the game didn't let me level up a second time (even though there still was that plus sign next to the characters)
Why does the ghost randomly stop - level 27 seems impossible with it. I have no idea why you would think it would be a good idea to implement something like this into the game.
That was fun. I'm not the best at puzzles like this, but after a while it got easier because my brain got used to visualizing the dice. Great concept, great game.
After you've finished the game you should have the option to go back to certain "checkpoints" so you don't have to start all over again. Other than that really nice game. 5/5
What are crossbows good for? Tried them once but it's just too slow...probably because I didn't get the hang of the reloading.
Other than that I love this game.
For anyone struggling, I got the bodking arrowhead and the longbow, along with spiral fletching and the composite arrow. To make aiming easier I took the weapons of the enemies (for non-archers) as reference point. As for the upgrades: I only bought mead when I had everything else maxed; I preferred archers over catapults but I don't know if that's a smart choice since the maxed catapult is pretty badass. I guess there is more than one way to win.
Anyway, this strategy worked for me: 624 kills on 758 shots and 79% accuracy
Fun game, even though I agree with it being too hard later on and that you should be able to edit your controls. One more thing: a map of some sorts would be nice because I never know if the next jump is a big one or not.
I just finished the game with "The Guard" or rather tried to finish it - beat the last opponent and got to the victory screen (where it says "Outstanding!...") but I couldn't continue because Firefox complained that some script was slowing it down (and it did, eventually had to close FF) - just take a good look at the plugin-container.exe in your task manager once you get to the screen
Love the game. Of course, replayability should be improved somehow...
btw What are "Bloody Lances"? I have played through the game five times now and only had it once.
To anyone complaining that rushing is rewarded: I myself like to build everything up and then crush my enemies but this is just not difficult. Rushing is harder and that's why there is a reward for it.
yes, bottom left.
