Also the closed transparency's extreme tactics has a one time panic penalty that comes not too long after you enact it. so if you censor media before you enact it you will never get a penalty or panic increase. Extreme tactics are very good at managing the virus i enacted it on day 2 of extreme mode and didn't do ANY other preventive procedures, besides vaccination and by the time i won on day 35 only a few thousand ppl had died thats less that 1 percent! Since dead ppl still count as part of the population percentage having very few corpses helps you get the 85% immune population for victory much more easily.
Important thing to note when disbursing vaccine is that its effectiveness based on a percentage of health people. Meaning that it is far better to vaccinate larger states first like new york and and California and so on. If you disburse vaccine to a small state or a state with very few HEALTHY ppl you are being very inefficient with your money if you are going for the vaccination victory.
also so far i have not used ranged weapons at all and am also doing fine you just need to aim for the head! the ai can be a bit predictable which is all the better argument for multi!
