The slot machine isn't the best way to get perfect weapons.
Level all your guys up to level 50 (use domination for this, you and 1 teammate vs 4 enemies), then create a custom deathmatch with 12 people set on very easy. Every time you win a game, the shops refresh. Rinse and repeat.
This way, you don't lose any money on the slots, and only spend money buying weapons.
commando, ammo feed, bouncy betty is completely broken. XD I have 4 enemies on hard trapped in their spawn. Just killing them with big ammo aug from a distance and laying down dozens of betties.
Beating alien campaign:
Shotgun: Close range
Holy grail: Mid/Long range
Rocket launcher: long range
Shredder: For lulz
Use the reload cheat as much as possible. This means you spend nearly no time reloading, allowing you to finish the match earlier, which gives your teammates less time to die. >.>
Use the shield when 2+ enemies are on you. Watch as they kill themselves.
Memorize each map, where the shields/health is. Try keeping your shields maxed.
Use extra mags, combat armor, and cooling.
Here's a trick.
If you're in a tight situation/want to reload fast, reload, pause the game, and then resume. :) You'll instant reload. Thumbs up to let others know!
Hmm anybody else stuck with warrior cleric mage rogue/ranger? I can't change any other classes.... for example, no way for me to have 4 rogues, etc. :(
Looked at previous comments... for the big bang, please don't use titans. XD Just use ordinary upgraded units. Have shield upgraded. Berserk would also be nice (makes killing the bombs easier). :) Also have a fully upgraded altar. When the bomb thing is about to explode, put on shield. Playing on epic and using this strategy nets about 180,000 gold... or currency.... :)
Tiger warrior starts out with low health... but upgraded, it's range and attack is amazing. With long range units, it pwns. :) Best unit other than succubus imo.
Thesinic is right. Grinding level 14 is so easy. Have a full shield and full berserk. Go epic, and charge immediately. Once the bomb comes out, go berserk. Once it's about to fall, use the shield. The best part is that your army resists the bomb revenge wave, since they're shielded. :) 140k in 3 minutes.
Level 12 Epic. Have 400 MP, full heal spell, full berserk spell (optional), ranged units, and 2 titans. Keep the range units back, charge the titans, heal them with the spell, and try to keep berserk on the whole time. THey will crush the castle on their own, about 7 minutes, and up to 150k. :) Money problem solved.
Only upgrade swordsmanship, speed(if you want to spend less time) and armor. Marksmanship if you like mages. Your game screen should have a field of enemy corpses and only 1 or two or yours.
You get charges, enemy doesn't.
Human Alliance. Spam swordsmen until you get kings guards and longswordsmen.
When the enemy sends spearmen, you send longswordsmen or swordsmen.
swordsmen:2 swordmen/longswordsmen
all ranged: hit him when he's about to cross
axeman: longswordsmen+swordsmen
spearmaster:3 swordsmen/2 longswordsmen/kings guard+swordsmen
Mounted: 3 swordsmen/king's guard
let flailers, whirlers, trolls by.
A great combination is 2 swordsmen followed by a mage.
When the enemy isn't sending out any troops, send out longswordsmen. Spread your troops out in case of a whirler or flailer or troll.
Once you get a charge, spam swordsmen until they reach the middle of the 1/2 and 3/4 of the field. Then start sending spearmen out.
Do demons first. Then do the most difficult, and finish with the easiest.
