I don't mind teasers like "Battalion: Skirmish", but demos just piss me off. If I wanted to go to another site to play, I would. But I like to keep my "favorites" list a small as possible. I'll be fine not playing the full version. Its not unique anyway.
So much starts going on at once, but with the bats speed, it makes it VERY hard. Leave the speed... fine, but how about a little bit of temporary invincibility after getting hit? I keep combo-killing myself as the level gets busier. 1 hit, bat stalls, something else hits, stall, and another hit. Game over.
I like it. The timer in between deployments feels a bit long, but that adds to the challenge I suppose. I've only found one bug (and it has only happened once so far) and that is that the start window stuck to the screen during play. Main menu didn't help. Had to reload the game. No biggie.
This brought back some memories. Was quite cool to see the ships I used to fly defending my station (even if they were a bit weak... a Guardian taking a two-shot from a fighter and dying?) Anyway, bravo. For those complaining about it needing more features... he said it was a "SIMPLE" turret game. Works as intended.
As tired as I am of all of the TD games recently... I can find nothing wrong with this one. Really well done, and a nice improved concept. I'll toss one of my rare 5/5s.
Loved the ending. 30 days. Will prolly try again now that I have it figured out. Didn't even have to bounce for the 6000. Definitely will try again if it gets badges (its an excuse to play again). Was fun.
