The word upgrade is misleading, certain 'upgrades' will absolutely destroy the AI, and being unable to reduce a 'upgrade' unless you reset the whole game is horrid, never ever upgrade max speed for example, i saw no reason to upgrade anything other than steering and population, the rest can easily force you to reset the game. Im worried if the developer actually tested the game, a sensational idea but not the best execution, too much trial and error to make the basics, needs a severe quality of life update
Game works until a point where it just wont, AI wont learn based on where mistakes exist, instead it gives random inputs until it eventually manage to make it, then it just follows the previous one, sounds kinda alright until you realize the massive conflicts, i got stuck on phase 4 because all the bikers would just take a sudden turn on the bottom left and rush into a wall, they would never learn because they dont try to make changes based on mistake points, i thought it was lacking upgrades so i went back to level 3 and guess what, i couldnt make even the first lap anymore, they would just never ever learn to take the 2nd left, i realize i had upgraded acceleration, something i havent done since the 2nd retire, no i cant progress on the game anymore unless i reset and avoid a upgrade
The assets have barely changed since the first game, all characters are broken down to their core levels, aka the sad guy will drop a sad pun every single time he pop in the dialogue, story is rushed and most times youll be just randomly testing dialogues with the NPC, game is about nothing other than reading a bunch of texts and then being put into a memory test (almost nobody likes that), and worst of all, he could simply release all those 'games' in a single version as updates, but instead he posts a 'new' game every 3 weeks and badged every single time because god knows why.
The first games were fine but god it feels like a layer of hell at this point, almost every week a medieval chronicles botd. I want savant dead 11 PM (btw theres ~35 medieval or medieval-like games by him)
A bit late to the party, but the comments are real, there is content but they shouldnt be THAT LONG to get into, christ you should take big games such as NGU idle, swarm simulator and others (just typed what i first got in mind) as example not facebook idles thats aged seriously bad.
Give us a handful of different tasks before the long grinds
They werent kidding about the lag, as soon as i reached the jungle phase, i am just here waiting for the next slide. Why nobody added a option to change the quality?
@archerbob and a few other guys who are having problems with saves, the reason is because the save is stored in your cookies and you didnt allow them, i use chrome so im going to explain its version, if you use somethin else then research how to by yourself. Its rather simple, click the lock next to the link and then cookies, on the top click blocked and check one called 'game[number].konggames.com' and enable it, then, reset the page and from this point and on everything will be stored unless you erase cookies or change the permissions
Jesus this game is a masterpiece , definitely a Favorite , glad theres still developers willing to work on free online games . Loved my experience so far , even tho the insane power spike mid game literally softlocks you
Another welcoming quality of life upgrade would be reworking the way how progressing to new levels works , not simply because you have to walk constantly around the map but also because to end of the level is ALWAYS hidden somewhere awkward , such as the top left in the room before the first boss , and much others i can list , giving a button to instantly finish the map next to the mobs killed progression would reduce the stress to play
Thank you for your praise.
