Not a bad first try. Here are some suggestions of things you may want to try adding at some point. First, in my opinion, you should have a health bar with maybe 3 hearts or lines on it. No one likes dying after one hit, so I suggest you make it so that a person can survive two hits and die on the third. Secondly, I suggest that you have levels. Level 1 ends at 1,000 points, Level 2 ends at 2,000 points, Level 3 ends at 3,000 points, and so forth. Each level can have a different colored background.
Well, those are my ideas. Good luck!
Hmmm.... ok, this is no "Sonny 2" but even so it has a certain quaint charm. I predict more good games from you, kid. And it's refreshing to see a game where the comment board isn't covered with messages asking for Badges.
An excellent "Asteroids" style game. I realize most of you probably never played Asteroids... but this is it, pure Old School gaming at its best. Good job!
I'm sorry, but this game doesn't compare to 1) launching a hedgehog into space, 2) going to the dentist, or 3) teaching a penguin to fly. Actually, it's like going to the dentist. But those other two games are on Kongregate and are way more fun.
I like "Sherlock" better. That lets you make multiple copies of choices and then eliminate the ones you don't like, so for example you'd be able to have a yellow and blue house until you were sure one way or the other.
A great game. I have to admit I'm rather terrible at it, (my past selves just never listen to anything I tell them. to them, I have that 11th Doctor face, I guess.) but I do really love it.
A 5/5.
I'm having the same glitch as toughguy. I've tried creating 'stop F1 when on orange' both first coloring the wavy line orange, and then adding a wavy line to orange, but either way I create it, it doesn't accept it. Oddly enough, it accepts grey and breaks you correctly earlier.
Okay, I have to admit that some of these levels wouldn't make much sense in real life, but still, it was a good enough diversion for 20 minutes. One thing I would modify is to increase the random pool of useless trivia facts so you don't get the same one all the time. 3/5.
10/5. Definitely the best end-game song of all time. Is this from the same guys who made that game with the floating orange balls and eye-pillars that shoot at you, because the monolith looks the same? Anyway, great game. Best laugh of the day.
Really a fantastic game. And the last two levels are a bit hard until you remember that the goal is to get the biggest circles. Keep that in mind and you'll win every time; the AI just goes for random circles.
Ok, I think the medium badge should be 'hard' if this many people are having trouble with levels 29 and 30. Still, I got the badge myself and I have no dexterity at all, so I dunno. Mostly you have to realize that there's actual strategy to this game, like in playing pool. That is, the order in which you kill the bad guys can make the game much harder or easier for you.
Really, this was a very fantastic game. Not too easy, and not too hard. If you are stumped, the important thing to remember is this: you must use everything in your inventory, without exception. I give it a 5/5.
This was a really funny, sweet game. I gave it a 5/5 even though it took me 59 days to get 6,000 feet. But that's because I don't think I "got" the physics until the end. (And I wasted time getting the other badges.) Now I'll try again and see if I can do way better. Here's a hint for anyone very new: you get a speed bonus for aiming down towards the water.
This is an old-school game. This game was clearly made with love for old turn-based games in mind. If you enjoy Disciples, or the Bard's Tale, Wizardry or Might and Magic, or any game where you have a party of NPCs with you, you will enjoy this.
To answer Livold, who asked about scoring points: that's what the Rating button in-game is for. It's not for a New Grounds or Kongregate rating, it tells you the score rating of your party.
It tells you stuff you might not realize, like that using Shrines subtracts from your score.
