I was looking for a jigsaw puzzle flash game, so I'm glad I found this. Now, here's a suggestion: have a challenger mode that eliminates the grid, as the grid makes placing the pices too easy.
Excellent game. I have the solution to level 40. Took me an entire week to get it, and then when I DID get it, the word VICTORY obscured half of it and I had to go back and do it again. But I have it. Message me if you want it, because you can only post 1,000 characters at a time here.
Yeah, I agree. There should be an EASY badge for completing the game. It was a really excellent adventure game, perhaps a bit easier than "You burnt the rope!" but it was definitely just as amusing.
This was a really great game. All the puzzle solutions made sense, though I did have to radio the Captain once or twice to be reminded what to do next. The banter between the Captain and Powell was very funny.
A great game! I can never get much past 40 because my left hand is worthless. I wish you could use the mouse for touching the squares! But still, I liked it very much.
I think this game has potential, but it has some flaws. Not with the battle screen-- I killed 250 creatures in about 5 minutes-- but with the between-waves screens. Frankly, I had NO idea what was going in with my inventory, points, bow upgrade points, potions and all that. And I have been playing games like this for 20 years! But I still can't figure out where to go look to see my in-game achievements! So, the User Interface needs a bit of work for when you are in town, resting, or whatever. I had no problems with combat-- it did not lag, and it was fun.
To answer Scooby: A sequel would be easy, since he just has to land his spaceship on some other world and start all over again. After all.... "where are his Cheesy Snacks? Noooooooooooooooooo!"
A really fantastic game. It took me a few levels to figure it out, but I got my medium badge in about a half hour. The secret is to work from the outside in, making sure all the corner pieces have something to connect to, then work inwards from there.
For those going for the Best-10-of-2009 badge: the easiest 10 missions to do on Normal difficulty are Missions 1 through 7, Weapon 1, and Response 1 and 2.
For anyone struggling, here's a helpful hint: on your first try, don't go for speed or time at all. Just actually try to do the shapes, so you can go "Ok, this one is a Z, and this one is a W, this one is dog, this one is a shoe." That will help you race through the dots faster than anything.
This was actually a very well written adventure. The learning curve was a bit steep-- I think I died 2 or 3 times in Level 5 before I figured out what to do-- but it just made getting all the way to level 9 that much more worth it and satisfying at the end.
And yes, the ending theme song is second ONLY to "You lit the rope!" as one of the all-time greatest ending them songs on Kongregate.
A fantastic little choose-your-own-adventure type game. I love how even the 'wrong' choices lead to some interesting consequences, some touching, and some amusing. 5/5.
