Excellent AI (for such a hard-to-get-correct AI in a game like this). Only annoying thing is by the finals the other team has far better hummers, better acceleration and top speed, which is quite annoying.
I turned off one of the 4 lights in the underworld beacon. I started at the beacon, and followed my light (the yellow light you see underneath you). If you turn a certain direction, the light begins to fade, until it fades nearly completely. 180 degrees (i.e. turn around), and you are facing the right direction. You should hear a sound each time the yellow light changes direction. After 4 changes or so, your yellow light turns off completely, whatever direction you turn. When I went back to the beacon, I found one of the lights turned off.
The yellow spheres disappear when you touch them when they're yellow. If you touch them when they're grey/dark, nothing happens. To get the first sphere, follow the yellow path (spiralling around the sphere) to get to it. On your way there, you'll find another yellow sphere floating towards you as you're going away from the beacon. Once you've made the first disappear, you get to the second one by going all the way to the end of the direction of the yellow path (so keep going in that direction, not spiralling around or going back). If you go backwards, even a bit, you'll have to start again. I haven't figured out how to get the final two though...
The first world is the living world. It's got a gloomy/creepy atmosphere, which is really nice. The matching music really enhances that atmosphere. If you fall off the edge somewhere, you get transferred to the "underworld". This is shown by its darkness, and four inverted cones of light acting as a beacon for you. Go there and you shall be "revived". This is further shown by the lack of any sound (or music) in the underworld.
Great idea, bad implementation. Such a shooter, if implemented correctly, could really make a good game. To start with, try making the mouse aim the ship, and not the arrow keys. It'd be easier to play that way.
Nice music. I like Semaphore best. The realistic movement of the planets is awesome. The data on each planetary body and the Sun is the icing on the cake. Graphics could be improved a bit, but overall this is an excellent piece of swf. 5/5
