Oh that is handy! Love how you can hold the CTRL key to make the maxes for everything automatically be the exact calculated amount you need to qualify for the next upgrade and no further. That is something I have often wished other idle games had since I often want to skip right to the next interval. So handy! A big thank you to whatever dev thought to put that in there!
Just for the record: I was playing this earlier today, closed the browser (firefox), on reopening the game I was started back at the beginning.
I hit F5 (only) to make it refresh and all my previous progress was back again once it loaded the game the second time. I know that doesn't seem to be working for everyone, but apparently it does sometimes remember the progress. Also FWIW, I did use the manual 'save' command in the game before closing it. Not sure it would have recovered my progress at all if I'd just closed it without manual saving first. And it certainly didn't load the progress on the first try. So there's definitely some issues, but saving is not fully broken either. Dunno if that helps with troubleshooting it for anyone.
This used to be fun, but currently as soon as a few handful of zombies come on the screen, it becomes unplayable due to the suddenly lagging almost-unresponsive controls. Not sure what changed. Shame though.
To ruthyy67 and anyone else who's starting the game and gets employees stuck on upper levels and doesn't know how to fix it. I had the same problem at first. You need to use the arrows at the top and bottom of the elevator shafts to stretch them across all of the floors (click and drag the edges), otherwise people get stuck on upper floors and unhappy about it. Wasn't sure how to reply to your comment so hopefully this works.
By far my favorite of the franchise. I just wish it could cloud/server save somehow. It's a pain when something wipes the cache and I end up having to start over from the beginning again. Local save is a bit tenuous sometimes.
Every time I check in on this game, it's gotten better! Very cool. That said I did find one minor bug: if the goodie bag shows up on the wrong side of the gate, then it acts like the gate is a solid object that I can't click through, so it won't let me click between the bars to pick it up. So I can only stare at it, sitting there, mocking me. lol But that's fairly minor as bugs go, it is just a little annoying. Other than that though, I'm honestly enjoying all that you've been adding to the game! =)
I keep trying to play this and it's just too laggy to even try. Why are there no graphics setting options? I don't get lag this bad ever really so I'm pretty sure if there was a setting to tweak, it'd be fine. Don't know what it's doing to cause it, but it's a shame there's no available way make adjustments that could help with that. =(
My heart was not prepared for how bleak this game was. The story, emotions and details are amazing yet subtle. The gameplay might be simple but the Feels are about as complex as life can dish out. =,( I don't think the memory of this story is going to be forgotten any time soon. <3
omg, right click allows me to delete things! So useful for adjusting placement and correcting misclicks without clearing the map. Wish I'd discovered that sooner in fact.
Dangit. Should have paid attention to the comments. Ignore the hole in the north wall of the central room on level 5. It's bugged, game will freeze and you'll lose your progress on that level since the last save point. Very annoying. =(
I love the block introduced around lvl 29 or so. Genius. Also love how each type adds to the gameplay in unexpected ways and interacts with the other types of blocks. Keeps it interesting but in a fresh way (never artificially obnoxious in the name of 'difficulty' just well designed balance). I like that.
I think the best part about this game is that it unfolds as you go, even within a level, because the board changes as you play so it feels like unwrapping a present. Like a constantly changing landscape. Interconnected but ever-changing. It keeps making you see things anew as you go, which keeps it fresh and interesting. It's pretty addicting and relaxing as well. The more I play it, the more I love it. *adds to favs to re-enjoy later*
Dang, lvl 25 really forces you to completely understand those rotating blocks before you can pass it. "Mostly" understanding how they effect the blocks around them just won't be enough. Nice.
I've only played the three parts of this installment. But after I finish each one, it leaves me hungrier for more of the story and more about these characters. That's good storytelling. And the emotions. I need to go back and play all the others. I also can't wait until there's a new one. This was so good!
I quite enjoyed it. Challenging but not too hard, quite intuitive and a bit clever, nicely atmospheric with a touch of story. Didn't find all of the notes but honestly enjoyed it nevertheless. =)
Level 10 keeps resetting? Can't seem to figure out what I'm missing since the letters keep reappearing, and the hint is what I've been doing. Is it a bug? Was fun until then though.
Unfortunately I think this is a Unity game, so it's a lot harder to give it a try now that support for Unity has been dropped in most browsers. Too bad it doesn't have the Unity tag since that would make it easier to find when in a browser that supports it. =/
This game really needs a fullscreen option. I keep clicking off screen and interrupting the gameplay. Really throws things off. Also the option to use keyboard to move would be nice.
FIXED!
