Yup, this game has a CRITICAL flaw. The absorb feature is way too strong, making it impossible to beat some later bosses unless you eliminate an entire class of wizard from your setup (There's probably a workaround by just grouping like wizards together in different corners, but I'm not going to waste more time trying it out) I'll wait for an update on this one, eagerly.
YAWN, I'd rather play RISK on a board against myself. Easy click along while watching TV, so somehow I got to level 5, but it's totally mindless and mostly blind luck in the opening rounds. I give up. Can't believe this is the 5th version! How could it have been MORE boring in the earlier 4 versions?
Nicely programmed interface, but the strategy just seems too random, and the AI is the typical, "all computer players attack the human, but not each other" lameness.
Nicely made, easy to play. Upgraded cities recharge too slow to be worth anything beyond the first few minutes. Thus no strategy, thus not much replayability. Gave it 5 stars at first, but downgraded to 4 stars for lack of replayability.. it's just boring after a few plays. Mindless point and click until your wrist hurts. Look forward to a second version with better shelf life.
