In an implosion, an inward force (usually a high gravitational pull, unknown in Mutilate a doll), pulls everything in, causing things to be crushed in with each other. Think of a Implosion like how a tornado works. Everything gets sucked in at high speeds, and hits other things, causing both objects to gain significant damage. Granted, in a second, not in the hours tornadoes can take.
