So I played the first 3 or 4 levels and I very much like it so far. The audio and visual style is refreshing and creative, and the play on computer programs and viruses is witty (or so I think). More games need to find ways to be unique and refreshing to their genre like this game does.
On my bus I hit a hump and kept in air long enough to just barely knock off the heads of about 6 or 7 zombies. As this happened I couldn't help but think, "Mario Bus?" x)
I like the game. But I'm not sure I understand how to efficiently earn my money. Am I aiming to deal as much damage as possible, as many hits as possible, or what?
Good graphic design, music keeps me pumped to play, and I feel like a badass when I manage to string some words together. Really helps me to push up my typing abilities. Good game
I think this unnecessarily hard xD But! I give props for the graphic design and soundtrack, because they're feel like they should remind me of something old school, but they're original and charming at the sametime. Great design, interesting idea, crazy hard.
True the title, it has frantic gameplay. The soundtrack, the art style, and the level progression are very reminescent of those old space games we all used to play. However, a few things are keeping this from being perfect, and the first thing is a save file. I lose all three lives, and I lose all my upgrades and have to start over. Being able to pick back up on the same level I died on with all my upgrades intact would add to the playing value a lot. The levels also feel kinda short. If you could lengthen the levels, not necessarily make them harder, just longer, it would add to them enjoyment we get out of each level. And some sort of scrolling background beneath the ship to help with the retro atmosphere. A fairly well designed one that would change with each level. Even without these things the game is great. Love to see how you add to it all with the sequel.
Complete the first 15 puzzles. So far so good. Very good game. It's simple but still makes you have to think things through. Pleasing to the eyes and a very peaceful and relaxing song very well suited to this kind of game. The sound effect when I make a 10 is satisfying xD This deserves to be available for purchase and download on every console and pc.
Hey everybody, if you have a laptop, consider using your touch pad to click when you mine. I did the test and I did about two clicks per second better when I was using the touchpad than when I was using an actual mouse.
I like the perk system, some of the new upgrades, and some of the new enemies (as well as the napalm grenadiers), but the increased difficulty and larger need to grind for gold make this harder to enjoy. I don't really start to fully enjoy the game until I've got half the upgrades. But even once I start to make some headway, the insane submarine battle stresses me x_x The boss battle from the first was better balanced, and all this xp on the ground needs to turn into extra gold once you hit max level.
Guys! I fixed my cut off screen problem!!! If you use firefox and/or adobe flash player, go the blacksmith and right click on the upper right hand corner. Click "zoom in," then go toward the farthest upper right hand corner again, right click, and click "zoom out." Go toward the lower right hand corner and do the same thing: zoom in and go toward furthest corner, right click and zoom out. There should be an option to zoom out again and boom: its centered. Don't know how or why but that's what happened for me. Hope this helps some people!
I don't know if it's just my computer or a game bug, but part of the game is cut off from the screen on the right, even when I go into cinematic mode. Anybody else experiencing this or know how to fix it? x_x
Simple, fun, addicting. Very awesome. I could also see this with a campaign and rpg elements. Going through different dojos or levels, upgrading slash speed, recovery speed, damage, and armor and such. I don't know if that would ruin it or not, but up to the creator. But this as it is is a great game
Visually appealing and very artistic, great music, and a good storyline. I love the combat and the simple upgrade system. If it had the support, money, and time, I could see this as a console game
I've completed two levels and so far I love it. But I believe what would make this better would be to alter the controls. Instead of the ship going wherever its pointed, make W,S, A, and D make the ship go up, down, left, and right no matter where its pointed. Then make it so that the mouse controls where its pointed and left click is fire. That would make this game more user friendly for more players
I agree with you. But this is a casual game - you can reach all the controls with one hand, so you can play and drink your coffee at the same time. There's a market for that sort of thing, apparently.
Good investigation there, putting the test to good use!
