Playable, but that's it. I got an achievement, but mousing over it doesn't tell me what it was. What's the point? 88 enemies in a SIDE QUEST dungeon? Almost none of the blacksmith's gear is worth buying? Potions are trivially cheap and take up no room? My skeletons are all but immortal, even against bosses, even though I have no way to heal them? The game is so easy and slow that it's not fun at all.
Sloppy grammar, non-helpful tooltips, clunky combat. Why can't I press a number key to select my skill? Might have some potential, but I can't understand why this was so half-assed. Music is cool.
Why do you not put tooltips on the cards as you get them out of the box? You can't see what you've gotten, and they're not marked as new either. Since you don't know what you just got, there's zero excitement for the cards. It's just a hoop to jump through. And the clicker quests are AWFUL. This is like a game designed by a person who had never played games before and didn't know their purpose was to be fun.
Too many things left unexplained. No tooltips on abilities in combat. Training makes little sense, and we don't have time to read the instructions anyway. Why do people spend this much time on a game, but not tell people how to play it?

Does the reflect armor work on AOE spells?
Does a healer's damage affect how much they heal?
Why are the gold and XP amounts abbreviated so we can't see how much we're getting from each kill?
Does the Space Altering Scroll increase monsters' damage? It says "all beings in the world".
#1 Yes that armor can reflect AOE damage as well. #2 Yes, in particular the heal amount goes up by 10 for every point of damage the healer has. #3 Because when you're at a point where it's abbreviated, getting an amount of money that doesn't show up on the counter isn't important to you anymore. This way I save a lot of UI space that I would otherwise need for bigger numbers. #4 Yep :)
26 days. Would have been a lot faster if (1) I had realized I could hold the button instead of clicking, and (2) the foolish donkey hadn't leapt in front of me while I was safely and responsibly roller-skating with a drawn sword.
There are thousands of free games available on Kongregate and other sites, yet people still aren't happy. It's the developer's game- they can charge whatever they want for it. They can charge a penny for even levels and $100 for odd levels. They can charge for the game, then make it free later. They can trade it for ham and egg sandwiches. IT'S THEIR GAME. Don't like it? Go make your own.
This is not an improvement. It's more complicated and less fun. You've eliminated what made the first game so great and replaced it with useless, confusing crap. Did you guys hire George Lucas to oversee this reboot? 2 stars.
@ken030988: I've been playing this game for like three weeks. I have about 6.5 million dark knights. Fighting Seula is taking about ten minutes. I can only imagine what the Grey Isles will be like. The problem is not that we don't have enough DK- it's that it takes such a ridiculous amount of time to get enough DK.
Atari-era gameplay. Unimpressive yet system-taxing graphics. Main character is a legendary warrior in good physical shape, yet she's pathetically weak and slow. Carries spears and a shield and rides a mighty horse, yet easily defeated by tents and branches. Cheap exploitative nudity with no warning for children or the sensitive. Repetitive, irritating narration. Nonsensical, Lewis-Carroll-in-Greece story.
What the hell were you people thinking? This is one of the worst flash games I've ever played. 1 star.
Pro tip- if you have a strong enemy in a decent sized room, you can kite them around. Keep out of battle for a few seconds and you will start to regen, then get back in the fight.
Everything's so fast that it just turns into a spamfest. *click furiously for two minutes* Dang, I have no idea what was happening on the battlefield, but I'm glad I won. Oh, my guy levOhwait, this guy leve tooOh man, what did they gain when they levelled? I HAVE NO IDEA guess I'll start another level...hmm...or...maybe I'll go play a game designed for organisms.
Games are supposed to be fun. 2/5
