I could have easily finish the campaign if it were not for lag. Unfortunately I was playing on my laptop (the weakest of all my machines). I believe this game is going to lag no matter how fast the computer is. However, I will give it a run on my dual core with 2 gigs of memory to see if there is a big difference.
A good tip for the campaign- You do not need to buy repairmen until you get bombed by a plane for the first time. At this point you should start buying them in massive amounts. 12 repairmen can erase the damage caused by the plane in about five or six seconds.
One thing you should know about the campaign mode. Due to slow down (lag) it takes substantially more time to complete each day around the 15th. Day 15 to day 25 easily takes an hour. Therefore you are easily going to invest three hours to even have a chance at the badge.
Next.... skip the uzi. If you save money, you can buy the shotgun on day four. Due to the fact that it can drop multiple enemies, you wont need anything else until you can afford the machine gun. For both weapons, max out the reload first and then move on to ammo upgrades. This will cake walk you into the twenties.
Ok here is a sure way to get past level 10 in the campaign. Once you make it past there, you will have smooth sailing because the money comes pouring in.
Day2 - buy 2 gunmen and upload pistol to 8 ammo. Do not compete with your gunmen who will pick off the leading enemies. Concentrate on the enemies who are near mid to rear field.
Day3- buy one gunman and save money for shotgun
Day4 - Buy shotgun. Only fire when you can take out two or more enemies. Wait for them to get in bunches and fire
Day5 - buy gunmen unti lyou have 6 total and repair house if need be.
Day6 - buy quake box and buy another gunman
Day7 - upgrade wall and you want 9 total gunmen
Day8 - Upgrade Quake Box, 12 gunmen total, Upgrades shotty reload time.
Day9 - Repair house, 14 gunmen total, upgrade shotty reload time and ammo
Day10- Repair house, Buy flamin tower
Another problem that I have with the earlier levels is that there is absolutely no flexibility in the upgrade path until day nine or ten. Perhaps a Desert Eagle headshot bonus would give the player a little extra cash to work with in the first few days.
The most glaring flaw with this game is the fact that you MUST start from the beginning each time you die. Once you complete a day, it should remain unlocked. This way you can pick up from where you left off or go back a few days and try a different upgrade path. You add this and there will be a lot more return players.
he best advice I can give you to advance during a campaign is to concentrate on buying gunmen. Once you have 5 or six, buy the shotgun and upgrade the reload time. You will easily be able to advance past level 15 if you have 25 or more gunmen and a fast shotgun. The quake tower is a must once your gunmen are in double digits. when the enemy forces fall to the ground your gunmen will pick them off.
