Dont know if it is intended but by using 2 multipliers and a corner splitter i am able to generate an endless stream of 5K Cells without any extractors, and by using only 3 tiles.

Spreadsheet for prices of all ventures up to 1200: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TQt__o57Xg05WyU1H6ZBsUKad_FOVDbNaCtnGip-XBE/edit?usp=sharing
@kattw it happens because the time it takes the bar to fill gets halved and if the bare is more than halfway full you instantly get awarded the profit and any spillover is added to the bar again. This is quite noticable when you hit 2 achievements at the same time as the time goes down to 1/4 of the previous amount for the last item upgraded (for alot of people this is often oil) and get 3 times profit for that venture if the bar is more than 3/4 full.
The actual formula used to calculate AI's:
AngelInvestors = floor(sqrt( 9.0 * total_earnings / pow(10.0,11.0) ) / 2.0 ) - angels_used_across_all_games
(in the code there is some +1.0 and -1.0 in there i guess its to keep the values as doubbles or floats)
This basically means that you can screw yourself over quite heavily if you start buying upgrades that cost angels to early, and that the angels used for upgrading are lost forever (Or until you do a hard reset).
If your earnings are high enough the acumulated loss across all your games might be neglible, but its something to look out for.
Also people have been asking about how angel effectiveness is calculated. Angels without upgrades have an effectiveness of 2% or 0.02 so:
money_earned = income + income * angels * 0.02
An upgrade that improves angel effectiveness by 1% or 0.01 is added to the base effectiveness of the angels, so if you bought the 1% upgrade it would look like this:
money_earned = income + income * angels * 0.03
Me and some of my friends was missing the Rapture Contingent upgrade after updating to version 1.3.1 and didnt want to hard reset, so i created an online tool to fix the problem in an exported game. If anyone else has problems they are welcome to use it: http://capitalism.blaase.com/fixes/upgrades
uuuhhhhh not intented! I'll fix that soon, thanks for the report!
