While others like the auto-lag-compensation, i have been screwed by it multiple times. In those seconds where swift action is required, it doesn't help to have the quality change to low and speed up the enemies.
Awesome game! I can't even believe how great this game was! *And he was like "ALL YOUR CAT ARE BELONG TO US" lol. I salute you for bringing retro style gameplay after everyone else has written this style off as too simple or stupid (which it isnt). One specific thing i would like to thank you for was the second level... You didnt restrict my use of bombs :P
PS: 5/5
Ok i really don't understand the point of this game....
So i played lvl one and realized i just have to mash the hotkey 1 and didn't really care because... well it was the first level but i tried the second level and it is just the same mash the hotkey 2 because they gave you another unit. The biggest thing i don't understand is how this could be considered strategy if you just have to mash a hotkey repeatedly. Anyway i assume that it would have been nice if you could control your units a bit more like buttons for hold line, regroup or just to make them attack the enemy units. To me it seems that once you reach the enemy base you just sit there, waiting for your money to regen and for your guys to be idiots and only attack the base. Overall i see major room for improvement and hope you dont feel bad for my 2/5
Um.. Just a suggestion to the maker... don't make the avatar jump when he hits someone let the player choose where they are. What i mean is it is rather annoying to chase down a demon with a toy if you are constantly jumping higher and it keeps going down to the bottom of your defensive towers. Other than that little quirk (*cough my opinion cough*) Great game 5/5
Ok what is the deal with this game? Do you want people to like it or is it your attempt at early programming? My main suggestion for this game is make it more interesting. You see really simple game ideas that are simple but hold your attention for at least a little while. One example of this is upgrade complete. You get bombarded with pointless choices while doing the same thing over and over yet it is (in my oppinion) a relativly interesting game. So... Make it more colorful add other options for game play such as different songs, more buttons for difficulties and vary the things flying at you don't just continuously send squares at me.
Ok, I see many glitches. The most common glitches while i was playing the game were as follows. I gained more money than i set the price to (this did not lead to unhappy people), I could not buy any stores other than the one i start at (yes i have the funds), and i can't upgrade my cash register or my cd rack.
I don't like the game that much. The game is glitchy and it seems very repetitive. I thought that the spells were very inventive but they are too inaccessible. The mana regeneration seems way too slow and the block that regenerates mana is too expensive.
The biggest annoyance to me was the restriction on building the tower. How do you expect someone to build a decent defense when you can't rearrange the blocks?
Good concept, poor execution. 2/5
Um kinda lame. Puzzle aspect isn't really that good because you gave the outline and almost exact picture as refrence. Other than that, good scripting; it ran really well.
I have a suggestion for the maker:
You should add a toggle objects button so if you get stuck (too fat) you can toggle all objects (remaining food included) so that you can still finish the level without restarting.
PS: Great Concept, Great Music, I give 4/5 because it could be better.
ok flying is just gliding
high places are from levers
one of the levers is by a stone
one you have to hit that lever by the stone to get to the platform which it is on
and another is underground
(you can see it from the surface)
to get this lever just walk right and try jumping through any small walls that would go back to the switch
