People dealing with save loss: For some reason the autosave seems to get deleted when you leave the page, but manual saves are not. All you need to do is make sure you save manually before you quit.
@robbaflob Being triggered isn't about being offended, it's where certain stimuli cause or worsen symptoms of a mental health condition. That is to say, casually strolling a games website and unexpectedly stumbling on something whose title and preview gif make it clear that it is about killing yourself can cause serious harm to someone who actually struggles with suicidal ideation. This doesn't mean the game shouldn't exist, it just means that if you care at all about not hurting people you should probably take steps to avoid hurting people.
@GlowingLimes If you beat enough levels of Shadow, the game starts over from the beginning (I think there's an integer overflow in there or something). That's kind of a pain, but as far as I'm aware that's the only way.
Would be nice if dying sent you back to the previous level with farm mode on even in non-boss levels. Failing a level tends to net far less gold and experience than succeeding on the previous level, so being stuck dying repeatedly on the same level makes it hard to buy the upgrades I need to actually beat it.
Hm, I've seen a few more people with this bug, but I have no idea what could cause it. Thanks for reporting it, I'll try to see if I can find the problem and fix it.
It might be cool to have an option to hide things that shops are sold out of and/or to reduce the size of items so I don't have to scroll as much when I want to buy things.
Pedantic note: a tetromino is made of precisely 4 squares (tetra coming from Greek for 4); a shape made of 3 squares is called a tromino. A 5-square shape would be called a pentomino, and a 2-square shape is a domino!
Annoy, you have no idea how happy it makes us that you know what polyominos are. You are right that we aren't strictly a 4 square generator game. Maybe we should update the description!
It would be cool if there was a way to see the tutorial again after you close it, and also if that tutorial could be improved upon (there's a whole lot of information crammed into not a lot of space and not all of it is immediately relevant, so it's difficult to parse everything). Fun little game, though!
I made a major miscalculation with using the "max" button, and now my horizontal aim is at the full 1000 while my stamina and nerves are stuck at 200 and get completely exhausted within the first leg. I would like to have some way to fix this situation for myself! Also, perhaps a button that will automatically put all your points equally in all your stats might be cool, so I don't come back from idling for the night to an absurd amount to be spending a mere 10 levels at a time (if this is unreasonable, at the very least an option to do 100 levels at a time would speed that process up immensely).
Great game as always! (By the way, just for fun, the theater term for the directions from the audience's perspective is "house left" and "house right".)
It's kind of obnoxious how much each point goes up in cost when you can't spend them across categories. I would like to be able to experiment with the distribution more without completely screwing over my future self.
Seems to be stuck loading for me. Already beat the game; am coming back to claim the badge. Trying in an incognito tab loads fine but needs me to do the whole thing over again, and avoiding that would be preferred.
Fun fact: If you kill a champion and then the mooks kill you, the champion won't reappear when you play the level again. It's a small touch, but it's kind of nice!
Geez..........great eye you got there. It was benefiting but it had a cap because of the way I coded it. I'll put up a fix soon.
