Nice game! Beautiful graphics, good gameplay and a decent story. Even if it was designed to sneer at recent RPGs, it's better than many "serious" games out there!
The author aimed to emulate the feeling of those old vector arcade shooters. That's why it's so colorless, and why the enemies explode that way - and it's a good vintage style. I had a good time with it, 5/5.
Also, nor Frantic neither Pixelvader were the first "bullet-hell" shooting games, so grow up, whiners.
Not a fun game. Halfway thru the ending it's just boring. The enemies easily overwhelm you, you can stick to the gatling all the way, accuracy is shit, a couple of annoying bugs, it's SLOW as hell, etc...
At least you can continue from where you died, so I could just get the badges and forget about it.
