Many of the levels require you to be pixel perfect in your shot, looking at the walk-through one generally finds what their doing is correct. The only real issue I had was on level 24 where due to a little bit of lag in the starting made it extremely difficult to shoot what I wanted, but perseverance and luck got me there in the end. Another thing I didn't like in the game is that whilst you can press R to restart whilst a level is going on if someone who is supposed to live dies you have to wait and mouse click replay because R doesn't work. Otherwise a good game 3 stars.
This game is pure randomness, even if you get everything fully upgraded you have little or no chance of achieving the goals and have to play the game from the start over and over... as it sits this is a 1 star game because after a few runs through the game gets boring.
If it was possible to save my game and play from a certain point and do multiple runs from that point I may feel differently, but as it currently sits this is just a big grinder with no pay off.
totally random if you'll either have gold enough or get the right shop to buy from in a given run... I went through an entire run without any armor. Can anyone tell me what level you have to grind to to get to the dragon?
Also, don't buy the luxury car for 5x (or more) the click rate because it makes you use your energy faster for everything not just your $/click button on the bottom right. I wish I could disable some upgrades or undo them altogether. Another issue is you have to be careful which route you take for education because you could end up in a crap pay job... I went for medicine and will get to $60/click, whilst other players in the game are getting 480/click for other jobs they got per the line of education they took.
My main gripes with the game are the bugs, the main one being the counter not counting correctly... for example, I can leave the game open and go afk for 4 hours and come back to it to find I have 87k, but the math just doesn't jive as at a current $528/minute X 60 minutes X 4hrs = almost 127k, what happened to the other 40k???
This is a massive grinder, multiple waves passed that I cant really kill anything and cannot get bits for upgrades making the game extremely frustrating for the lack of progression. 1 star
3/5 for a mostly nice game, there was one notable bug I encountered realized upon watching a walk-through video on YouTube where the woman would fall at the same rate as a block and not faster. Presumably due to lag, upon shutting off certain options in the game menu the game ran properly.
Weird; lag causing gameplay disparities shouldn't be a thing, considering the engine structure I use? Maybe I'm wrong, though; the code for this game did end up being pretty messy (as was the case for most of my games at the time).
A lot of the levels are pure randomness and luck if you can get them done, especially the last level where even if you can get it up it rolls off because somehow your required to do it pixel perfect
