Mostly a great game. Only quirks I found were on level 5 some kind of audio bug that made me not use my headphones, and some of the combined puzzles caused me confusion on level 6 clearly a case of whats in the developer's mind not being in mine. I also wish the levels were a little more explorable instead of only specific area's... 3 stars
botd is bugged, I tried everything... locking trenches et cetera and troops would move on un-commanded and finish the level making it impossible to get to the surrender. In the finish I waited for it to happen again, took a screenshot and submitted a bug report for the badge.
Sold my pistol that takes 2000ms to reload in favor of a rifle that takes 300ms to reload, seemed like a no brainer... but the rifle doesn't reload, game over 1 star
For the last boss his eye's give away the direction he's gonna go, and you also have to line up to shoot his sweet spot which causes him/her to flash red when you hit.
Well the game earns it 1 star from me, I cannot beat the 3 head dragon that kills my 3 characters from full health on every attempt... it also annoys me when buffs/debuffs do not work. If the creator ever gets around to fixing the bugs let me know and I'll try again.
The easy and medium badges I got last year, here it is 11 months later and I got the 1st hard badge for 150 chests after finding a hidden area to the left of two igloo's after 14+ hours of actual playtime, at least what the game recorded as time played. Now I have to start from scratch for the other hard badge... apparently the way to beat the protector is to grind up enough gold to buy dark runes to blast your way to victory. Supposedly by medals in the game one is supposed to be able to inflict 30k and 100k damage to an enemy but my max has only even been 10k even with limit breaks and all other skills/armor, et cetera maxed out.... perhaps its player level dependent as my characters are around level 27 perhaps this is why my damage is so low.
How to get Narwhal Tamer Medal? I equipped lvl 5 pirate armor...
Because I cannot get past the protector I am stuck at 147 chests, I am trying now to get 40 medals in order to access another area in the hope of some chests. Currently at 37 medals
I persevered some more and am now stuck at the lvl 25 protector, which is too OP to beat, it heals faster than I can kill it... I got it down to 80k health and then it fully heals back to 110k I closed the game. Both hard badges are indeed impossible
Looks like neither of the hard badges are possible, simply put there isn't enough gold in the game for me to upgrade stuff to progress even after many days and hours of grinding... currently I have 105 chests and two area's I cannot get into due to woolly mammoth and lack of medals. 1 star for a very boring game. Also I cant find a map, is there one or not it'd help me to see where I have been.
I got both medium badges together, some sort of static sound issue... I played this game not long ago and this time when I went to load it up all progress had been lost, I'll see if its still there the next time I feel like playing for the hard badge
